~⠀ Hugh Michael Jackman born October, 12th 1979, (my portrayal of Hugh is 40) is an a multiple award winning actor, singer, and producer from Sydney, Australia. Hugh gained international recognition for his roles in a variety of film genres. He is most commonly known for his long-running role as Wolverine in the X-Men film series, as well as for his lead roles in films such as Leopold, Van Helsing, The Prestige, the The Fountain , Australia, Les Misérables , Prisoners, and the musical The Greatest Showman. ⠀
Jackman was born in Sydney, New South Wales, to Grace McNeil and Christopher John Jackman. His parents were English and had come to Australia in 1967 as part of the "Ten Pound Poms" immigration. Jackman has four older siblings and was the second of his parents' children to be born in Australia. As a child, Hugh had always been interested in theatre and through years of schooling, participated in various plays and acts. It wasn’t until he was older did he really ever consider making a career out of acting, but grew more and more passionate about the art and chose to pursue it through balancing education and theatre. After a while, Hugh would begin to receive the well deserved recognition for his small, but well put together roles and begin prevailing his way up the ranks, with the pure intent of pursuing what he loved, seeing the fortune and benefits that followed as a mere coexistence of what he was really striving towards, a side treat rather.
When Hugh Jackman strides into a room, everyone takes notice. After all, it’s hard to ignore the angular frame, the neon smile, and the electric elegance of a man who is as strikingly handsome as he is talented. He’s also known for being one of the nicest men in Hollywood. But “nice” is hardly adequate to describe the humble 40 year-old Actor, who has proven himself to be one of the most versatile performers on stage and screen, having gained fame as an actor, for his one-man Broadway shows, and for hosting the Oscars and Tonys. Hugh mainly resides in his birth place, Sydney with his two children and French bulldogs, but tends to be quite transitory with wherever his work takes him.
