So last night I had my last drink again for another 7 weeks with this amazing lot to celebrate @gelegirl2000 40th. 
Had an amazing time and laughed a lot but now it’s time to knuckle down and smash these final weeks with @thefastcoach @fastwaytofitness and I cannot wait. Bring it on.

What an amazing turn out yesterday from the Revolution Fit Fam for the #revolutionparkrun 🙌🏻❤ Trainers and Clients from our Angel, City and Holborn Studios headed up to Highbury fields for the @parkrunuk and it was an amazing atmosphere

The biggest mistake beginners make is they jump in with both feet on day one, with the more is better approach, this is possible the worst thing they can do
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you have only just started the gym you cannot train with weights every day, your body makes progress when your resting not training, think about this logically
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
All that will happen if you try to train twice a day and go for the do more approach is you will get burnt out, your training intensity will be terrible and eventually you will give up
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I would suggest having a structured approach, with 3-4 weight training sessions a week, a solid foundational diet and rest days from the weights!

This is more time efficient, better for your body and as always will get you optimal results

We’ve managed to stay consistent over a long period of time in order to achieve a dramatic change like this! Of course there were slip ups, bad days, bad weekends along the way- it happens to everyone. 
The difference is there was no spiralling out of control and he was hitting his calorie targets for the majority of the time and stuck to his training regime👊🏻
To achieve a great transformation like this.. consistency is key🔑

Looking back I am very happy with my performance
▪️I managed to maintain Butterfly throughout (bar 1 set of 7 where my focus was purely on my hand bleeding)
▪️Go unbroken on the last set of 9 & 9, which for me feels like a huge win that even though exhausted, I chose to hold on
▪️Paced it well based on my current fitness

Things I could improve
▪️Go Faster
▪️Get Fitter
▪️Do bigger sets and still maintain high output

This is what I love about the #CrossFitOpen. It makes you do workouts/movements you may normally dodge in training and then gives you an idea if all your training has been working
🧠 Its the Exam after all your revision

Like I say every year, I feel my CV let me down this year, but I feel how i approached workouts improved as the Open progressed. I feel I started to have control of my workouts rather than the other way round.

Anyway, heres to 6 months of OFF SEASON to see how much we can improve for the next ‘Test of Fitness’. My engine will not be my limiting factor in October 💪🏼

Looking back I am very happy with my performance
▪️I managed to maintain Butterfly throughout (bar 1 set of 7 where my focus was purely on my hand bleeding)
▪️Go unbroken on the last set of 9 & 9, which for me feels like a huge win that even though exhausted, I chose to hold on
▪️Paced it well based on my current fitness

Things I could improve
▪️Go Faster
▪️Get Fitter
▪️Do bigger sets and still maintain high output

This is what I love about the #CrossFitOpen . It makes you do workouts/movements you may normally dodge in training and then gives you an idea if all your training has been working
🧠 Its the Exam after all your revision

Like I say every year, I feel my CV let me down this year, but I feel how i approached workouts improved as the Open progressed. I feel I started to have control of my workouts rather than the other way round.

Anyway, heres to 6 months of OFF SEASON to see how much we can improve for the next ‘Test of Fitness’. My engine will not be my limiting factor in October 💪🏼

Okay, let's ignore for a second the fact I haven't brushed my hair or put on makeup yet. So, don't really look 25 at all 🤣 but,  having a bloaty day (which almost every girl can relate too), the day where you look in the mirror and just feel puffy all over, everyone tells you, you look fine, but in your head you feel like you've put on half a stone over night. I've taken these photos and feel better than I did, but feel I would like better without the added bloat. I know I'll wake up tomorrow and be back to normal. The fact I can fit into my size 8 Nike leggings and MyProtein sports bra, which is the first time I've worn it since I brought it, is enough for me. But, also knowing it's a week away to complete this programme and have a treat is exciting. Happy Saturday, and be kind you never know when someone feels insecure or having "one of those days".
