Day 4 Of My Bulking Phase (I’m going to start counting the days).
Today was an intense workout day for me. I first did my Push workout, with my conditioning session being a Superset (doing the exercises back to back without rest). Afterwards, I decided to try to beat the guy Tommy who was in 1st place for the Treadmill Challenge. .
That Treadmill Challenge had my calves sore as soon as I stepped off the treadmill 😵
Tommy’s time (I honestly don’t know who he is 🤷🏽♂️) was 40 Minutes. Even though I’ve never practiced walking for long periods of time, especially incline (it was 40% Incline), I still managed to beat his score 😏😏.
He had 40 minutes and I got 41 minutes and 22 seconds 😙
How did I do it? Simple: I watched a movie while walking 😅
I didn’t finish the movie while walking, but I did get to see most of it.
I watched bloodsport, it’s a good short movie 🍿that I recommend you watch if you’re into Martial Arts movies or are trying to beat a Treadmill Challenge 👍🏽.
I burned about 973 Calories from just the two workouts combined 😬and today I only ate 2,074 Calories 😶. So based off of the amount of food I ate and how many calories I burned, I was in a caloric deficit, meaning I probably lost some weight today 🔥 and yet I felt full throughout the day 👌🏽.
To not go into too much details, what I’m doing in this bulking phase is have high calorie days, then maintenance, then a deficit, and last a cheat day. This is an experiment, just to see how much muscle and fat I can add and lose throughout the week. .
I still can’t decide whether I should get Chinese food and churros or pizza and frozen yogurt for my cheat day 🤔🤔.
