Let’s talk about it! So, I’ve been lifting weights for almost three years and I’ve figured out which exercises work best for certain muscle groups. One example is squats! I prefer sumo stance and pausing for a few seconds at the bottom of the movement. The pause allows for more time under tension and the ultimate burn! Sumo deads are also a preferred method of targeting my glutes! .

The point of this post is to be aware of the muscles you’re working with certain movements. However, this takes time and effort. Work on perfecting your form and really feeling your muscles work with certain movements in order to make the most of your workout.

Its flex Friday. Had a great arm workout last night. Quick, to the point and focused. Loving the shred. Still got some work to do. .
Came in at 142lbs this morning and 8.8 % fat .

The human flag... tried this for the first time a few days back on the rod of a local train. And did it today with @the_beast_withinme in our college. This isn’t something which builds muscles or aids muscle growth but is a mere indication of how strong your core and lower back is.. after seeing this post many people will come up with their common comment “show off”. Maybe yes I’m a show off and like showcasing my strengths and what I’ve built over a period of time through hard work and dedication. My “showing off” doesn’t take anything away from you. Day 4 Of My Bulking Phase (I’m going to start counting the days).

Today was an intense workout day for me. I first did my Push workout, with my conditioning session being a Superset (doing the exercises back to back without rest). Afterwards, I decided to try to beat the guy Tommy who was in 1st place for the Treadmill Challenge. .
That Treadmill Challenge had my calves sore as soon as I stepped off the treadmill 😵 
Tommy’s time (I honestly don’t know who he is 🤷🏽‍♂️) was 40 Minutes. Even though I’ve never practiced walking for long periods of time, especially incline (it was 40% Incline), I still managed to beat his score 😏😏.

He had 40 minutes and I got 41 minutes and 22 seconds 😙
How did I do it? Simple: I watched a movie while walking 😅

I didn’t finish the movie while walking, but I did get to see most of it.

I watched bloodsport, it’s a good short movie 🍿that I recommend you watch if you’re into Martial Arts movies or are trying to beat a Treadmill Challenge 👍🏽.

I burned about 973 Calories from just the two workouts combined 😬and today I only ate 2,074 Calories 😶. So based off of the amount of food I ate and how many calories I burned, I was in a caloric deficit, meaning I probably lost some weight today 🔥 and yet I felt full throughout the day 👌🏽.

To not go into too much details, what I’m doing in this bulking phase is have high calorie days, then maintenance, then a deficit, and last a cheat day. This is an experiment, just to see how much muscle and fat I can add and lose throughout the week. .
I still can’t decide whether I should get Chinese food and churros or pizza and frozen yogurt for my cheat day 🤔🤔.
