Iconic. Captivating. Shattering. These words describe the designs Gianni Versace created during his final runway show. They're bold, and they demand attention. Although decades have passed since their creation in the 80s/90s, it's time to revisit these captivating designs through hair-- remixed for the 21st Century, it's time to rethink color placement and the idea of hair as an accessory. With dusty, gorgeous rust and turquoise tones, the color palette of the hair band stands out from the rest of the hair-- like a strong, modern woman who lives on her own terms. I achieved this bold look through exclusive use of Wella's product line, with the Wella logo serving as inspiration for the wave at the top. For me, this technique is more than just an artistic effect-- it represents what the color line stands for: it defies what we thought was possible so that we can curate a uniquely spectacular look. I hope everyone enjoys this look as much as I enjoyed creating it.
This is my entry for #USWELLACOLORARTIST2019 .
