Long Term vs Short Term
This post is going to pertain to weight loss and just fitness in general. We are pressured to look our best all the time through social media and media in general. We all want "THE FIX" that will help us looking our best so when we hear the following trigger words, 30 day, detox and $5,000 cash prize lol
We automatically think that this is the solution and we spend hundreds of dollars on these programs by these "influencers" who at the end of the day don't have your best interest in mind and just give you a crash diet to follow for a short amount of time.
In my short experience as a PT, I found that the people who fail are the ones that are hard on themselves after eating one "cheat meal" on a Monday, Quit and restart in 6 months which inevitably starts and restarts this vicious cycle of self hate and doubt.
The ones who are most successful however are not the ones who think 30 days from now but those who think a year from now and go through the necessary steps to get to their goal through proper training, nutrition and research through a PT *wink wink* or on their own continue to manage their own health and wellbeing way after their original goal is accomplished just to feel better and maintain this lifestyle.
Fitness is not a short term fix to "look good." The main purpose of Fitness is to be a lifestyle, just like brushing your teeth or making sure you smell good on a daily basis. The main purpose of this daily ritual is to better your body but also your mind and spirit through daily physical and mental exercises. #fit #fitness #fitspo #fitfam #fitspiration #instafitfam #instafitness #instafit #igfitness #igfit #igfitfam #beast #beastmode #bodybuilding #personaltrainer #training #personaltraining #workout #aesthetics #calisthenics #weightlifting #gym #gymlife #gymrat #athlete #motivation #inspiration #likes4likes #followforfollow
