Having trouble building lean muscle as a vegan? It can be a slow and drooling process I know. I’m going to relay some info that has helped me so far, besides the obvious eat every 2 hours and make sure you’re eating close to your body weight in protein. ✅
Swap your water with a simple protein shake. Add a scoop of protein powder to your water and drink it with every meal.
Use nuts & seeds instead of oils.
Supplement when necessary. (Aminos, vegan shakes)
Scale back (a little!) on veggies.
Always have cooked beans ready to eat. (I eat beans daily)
Eat more tofu! Tofu has a complete amino acid profile which makes it great for putting on some lean muscle. I tend to make tofu/veggie stir fry with beans/quinoa. 😋 hits the spot every time! It’s even something you can eat all day if you’re trying to be that level of dedicated.
Fuel your body properly every 3-4 hours, drink a lot more water, add some cardio if need be and watch the muscle shred!
Also make sure you’re getting all your vitamins and minerals, just as important as everything else. 🙌🏻
