This week, we are partnering with Everyday Refugees Foundation (@everydayrefugees) to raise awareness about refugees and asylum seekers all over the world. Each year, Refugee Week takes place around World Refugee Day (June 20), so for the next seven days, we are sharing images by various photographers who document the daily lives of refugees in order to reveal their challenges and circumstances. Keep reading for more details about each image, as well as some additional information from the Foundation about the importance of photography in catalyzing awareness and change.
Inamuallah, a 15-year-old unaccompanied refugee minor from Afghanistan, shaves on a railway track behind the central station in Belgrade, Serbia, where he and other refugees took refuge.
This is @everydayrefugees, sharing images from different parts of the world documenting the daily life and the challenges of refugees settling down or looking for new homes. Our goal is to shed the light on the issues, spread awareness by documenting the stories of the people, aiming to empower and bring an actual help through our projects.
