Serving 1 (feel free to double)
I used frozen shrimp to save some money too.

Ingredients:
• 1 cup lentil pasta (I mixed red + green)
• 200 grams peeled shrimp / prawns
• Handful asparagus
• 1 garlic clove - finely sliced
• 1 courgette / zucchini
• 1/2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil or avocado oil
• 1 tbsp Red Pepper + tomato pesto (quality store bought is totally cool checking for inflammatory fats like sunflower / canola / veg oil)

How the magic happens:
1: Heat wide saucepan on medium heat with 1/2 the oil
2: Bring a saucepan to boil with water for the pasta. (Add a pinch of salt to stop pasta sticking)
3. Slice the asparagus + courgette at an diagonal in strips. Add to the pan, turn heat up slightly.
4. Add the pasta to boiling water then bring to a gentle simmer. It cooks in 8mins.
5. Once vegetables are lightly brown and nearly cooked through remove to a plate.
6. Add the other 1/2 of oil. Add the prawns to the pan and cook 2 minutes per side.
7. Add the veggies back in and add the pesto.
8. Cook through another 2 minutes.
9. Serve with fresh basil over the top.

Help a girl out!! I’m after honest reviews/opinions..! I cancelled my AC subscription at the end of last year as I was going through lots of personal stuff that meant I just wasn’t able to commit to the workouts anymore (I know I know “you make time for what’s important to you blah blah blah”) but I just couldn’t keep up with it and I felt like I was failing and therefore I was making excuses. So I decided to go back to my #bbg ebook.. I had a lot of success with it in the past and it served a purpose at the time. However, going back to the beginning didn’t really work for me after so much new experience, I found myself slacking and switching out basic body weight moves for weighted exercises.. every circuit 🙈 kinda defying the point! .

With this in mind I’m thinking that maybe I do need to reintroduce some #weightlifting again and I feel I would benefit from following a programme rather than doing my own thing.. which has no structure and again allows for excuses..! .
.
So I’ve not had any experience with #pwr or PWR at home although I am told it’s more like #alexiaclark than the original BBG.. but now I’m settling down and have more focus.. could it be that I need to rejoin the #queenteam or will that just set me back again when I start to become frustrated when time doesn’t allow the whole 5 circuits every day.. .

What does one do?? 🤔😅 .

Respecting youself has nothing to do with the amount of clothing you're wearing or how much skin you show.  Being confident with your body and showing your body off is 100% okay! If you want to post 100 photos of your booty then hell yeah post that booty! If you don't post a single photo showing skin that's great too! If showing skin offends you then simply dont following women who show skin. I think women are too hypercritical of each other . Found some extra strawberries in my fridge and now pretty excited for my lunch. Mixed, shredded greens with sliced strawberries, dried cranberries, bleu cheese crumbles and drizzled with balsamic. Add in avocado, grilled chicken or walnuts for more substance. Ready for some summer salads! 🙋🏼‍♀️

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, if u don’t physically exert yourself in some way frequently, ur missing out on a whole load of life. The mental clarity, self esteem boost, hit of endorphins and a fucking good mood. You don’t need to be able to run a mile to go for a run, stop waiting until u feel like ur fit enough to join a gym, or to go and run, because you never will be. Our expectations of ourselves are always too high. But if every single day you just show up, whether you run for 45 minutes, 20 minutes or 2 minutes. Same with anything. Keep the momentum going and just show up, be consistent and you’ll finally reinforce the positive feelings that come with exercise & make you want to continue, but ya gotta consistently do something to get there.
