I haven’t fallen.

I DID though have a emotional eating day ALL day yesterday 😱😱 Don’t do that.... ⠀
Plus I didn’t get my workout in BECAUSE I was spending all day yesterday/today cleaning and packing and making sure when we leave my HOME is clean since we are leaving back on the road.
⠀
So today I probably won’t eat 100% either because of traveling. I can eat healthy while traveling on the road but it’s hard and it’s packed all away. And I have nothing here to pack away with me. I have more grocery shopping to do once we get to our hotel.

I did weigh myself but I have chosen to not post it because I GAINED due to just ONE DAY of completely eating GARBAGE 😩😩😭😭

But that’s OK. Because that doesn’t mean I will stay on that path, that doesn’t mean I’ll keep gaining, that means MONDAY is a NEW WEEK, and it begins back 100% all over again 🙌🏻🙌🏻

So tomorrow I get to FINISH last day of WEEK 1 workout and BEGIN WEEK 2
⠀
This does and can happen. I did so so well, and even got down to 133.8 while home so I had lost a little over 2 lbs of the 5 I had gained AND then gained that back and then some all because of ONE DAY. ⠀
See how real and raw I am with YOU? See how real weight loss can be? See how emotional eating can play a nasty role? ⠀
I ain’t perfect. I still struggle. It is hard falling and then getting back 100% but guess what I know I won’t allow 2 days of it to keep me in that spot. I know MONDAY is a NEW START to a new week, new everything and I will be back ON TOP 🙌🏻🙌🏻💪🏻💪🏻💯💯

Stretch! It’s VITAL that you guys always warm up before working out as well as stretch afterwards. Warming up helps to maximize your performance and reduce the risk of injury. Stretching will allow the muscles to elongate [and loosen up], providing you with improved flexibility, which in turn prevents you from injury. If you have a tight muscle, another muscle may work harder to compensate for the tightness. When this happens, you have a muscle imbalance which can lead to injury. (My warmup normally consists of light skipping or a 5 minute jog along with a body weight exercises. I perform light stretching after workouts and also do at least 2-3 Pilates / Yoga sessions per week on top of my training sessions)

I have had such a tough time in the past couple months enforcing self discipline and seeing the bigger picture. But it’s time to stop. I realized that if I don’t kick my own ass, my unhealthy habits will never end. Because if I don’t just stop procrastinating and change myself for the better, no one is going to do it for me. And it won’t happen.

. 
Your goals don’t care what you feel like. They’re going to be there whether you decide to chase them or not. YOU have to think about what is important and just DO IT.
.
.
So as comfortable as I was in my unhealthy ways, and as much as I wanted to just keep eating junk food... I knew had a choice to make. Either feel uncomfortable now and feel great in the long run, or just keep treating my body the way I have been and continue to wish it was different. And let’s face it, the sluggish way I’m feeling is way more uncomfortable than getting active and forcing myself to change.

It’s all on you. YOU are the one who pushes the button. Decide what you want for yourself and GO GET IT. Otherwise, it’ll always just be a wish. .

The scale or thought of getting on one used to scare me ...and after I'd get on, it would anger and frustrate me .

But now it's not the number that I see that really matters ...but how I feel about myself >>>whether that's stronger, happy, accomplished, etc. .
.
.
Now I use the scale to hold myself accountable...because knowing that I'm going to weigh myself each morning keeps me from making unhealthy choices which just lead to me feeling bad physically and emotionally & keeps me from talking myself out of working out. ⬇️

I made my own little açaí bowl for dinner! But instead of actual açaí berries, I blended a bunch of frozen blueberries and cherries 😄 Bluecherry bowl? Still works! All I need is a mint sprig and some toasted coconut! And also, I’m eating this out of a molcajete 😐

💥LONG POST💥 
Hey guys! My name is Nikkita. I am a mom of 3, fiancé, LPN and currently in school getting my RN. I became a mom at 19, barely into adulthood and suddenly I had another person to take care of. I struggled in every way imaginable. Financially. Emotionally. Mentally. I never had the chance to really find myself as an individual. I ALWAYS put everyone else before me. After having my 2 youngest I REALLY let myself go. I gained 70lbs, and the depression hit hard. I lost myself. In school, the question came up “what are your hobbies, what do you do for self care?” as a nursing student self care was crucial. I had NO answer. Literally. My answer was “my kids and kello” that’s all I ever committed to. As a mom I felt guilty if I spent any time or money on myself. So I decided to join beachbody. With the push of my coach (and sister) and Kello, I took the leap to spend money on myself. I could workout at home, work on my health, nutrition, and learn self care. I had zero faith in myself. I was the person who ate my feelings, and broke promises to myself daily. But guess what? I completed my very first beachbody program without missing any days. I showed up for myself everyday. And that lost girl, started to love herself in a way that she never has. I gained confidence and faith. And then I did my second round. Yes I got results, but that was nothing compared to what I gained within myself. And it was then that I decided to be a working coach. I want to help other ppl not only reach their fitness goals, but their goals to find their happiness, and their individualism. And YES, that is 100000% possible through health and fitness!!!! @shaunt hit the nail on the head today: Balance. Is. Happiness!! I started my day with Wk 2 Balance and 15 min Abs of @transform_20 , which also signifies the end of the Commit Stage—WAHOO!! I personally really do love these Balance workouts.  I love being able to fully reconnect my body and my mind; it’s kind of like a reset after the work week. @shaunt hit the nail on the head today: Balance. Is. Happiness!! I started my day with Wk 2 Balance and 15 min Abs of @transform_20 , which also signifies the end of the Commit Stage—WAHOO!! I personally really do love these Balance workouts. I love being able to fully reconnect my body and my mind; it’s kind of like a reset after the work week. Not gonna lie, I have always had a big booty 😂(thanks mom) but to see my stomach shrink and my booty get even bigger is freaking me out. Don’t get me wrong, I am all for a shrinking stomach...but to see booty gains on top of an already big booty is a very weird adjustment 😂😂😂😂
