Lo primero que debes saber es que no te podes saltar el proceso, debes ser un pro haciendo el salto básico, por lo menos lograr estar un minuto haciéndolo sin errores.

Luego de dominar el salto básico, vas a estar mucho más preparado y concentrado para los saltos dobles...
.
Para empezar no intenten hacer varios saltos dobles de una, empiecen por uno y luego salto básico, luego uno y salto básico, luego uno y salto básico, así van a poder perfeccionar la técnica, tener balance e ir cogiendo la fuerza en los brazos para mover la cuerda rápidamente...
.
Después de dominar alternadamente el salto básico con el doble, estas listo para empezar a realizar varios saltos dobles! (Por lo menos así fue como lo hice cuando estaba aprendiendo)

Yaaa that was me too! I remember feeling pretty intimidated and veryyy lost the first time I attempted weight training but with time it got better and I have some tips for you!

1️⃣ Buddy up 👭: Try and go with a friend, boyfriend, girlfriend , colleague etc as this will help to make you feel less nervous and boost your confidence even when you feel like you’re messing up as there’s someone there supporting you💓
_
2️⃣Free Session with PT: Most gyms( or ones I’ve been to) offer a free 1-2 hour free consultation. Use this as your opportunity to ask all the questions about your goals, how to use equipment and if they’re nice enough, they could even write you ip a workout plan to get you started! (I was lucky enough to get this at my first gym back home in Oxford)

3️⃣ Ditch peak times 🐝: Try and go to the gym during ‘quiet hours’ ..usually around 11am-4pm and late at night from 10pm ( this depends on your gym though). This way you can practice exercises you may be unsure of how to do without feeling ‘watched’ 👀 . This is the perf time to grab a PT and ask for help as they’re less likely to be crazy busy 😋

4️⃣Zone out: Remember you’re there to work on you 💜.Having my music is essential to helping me focus on my workout rather than my surroundings! Grab those earphones and workout like no is watching! 😁
_
5️⃣KEEP GOING: The more regularly you go, the more comfortable you’ll become with the surroundings. With time  it will become like second nature to just walk in, ignore/pretend the stares aren’t happening 😫and boss your workout!💪🏾💜

In the moment, you’re pissed but right after that feeling, I get so driven to do better. So earlier this week i completed the #peachplanchallenge  and i am loving these ab exercises!! i add them into my workouts at least 2-3 times a week!  slowly starting to get my motivation back for going to the gym(yay!!). Right now i’m loving HIIT workouts and cardio🙈 (ik so weird) haha but this week my goals were to continue to stretch before going to bed, drink more water, and not procrastinating on my school work! I can proudly say that i completed all my goals this week!🤩. (I love making weekly goals to hold myself accountable!).

Stretching before bed has definitely helped me stay lose and not be sore for a long time. To say that i didn’t procrastinate this week feels soo freaking good! i’ve been struggling for years and years with procrastination and hopefully this is the start of me not procrastinating in the future!!☺️.

I’ve been slowly getting more confident while filming myself in the gym! it’s really hard at times but i just need to realize that NO ONE CARES! I always think that everyone’s gonna be looking at me and judging me but honestly, WHO CARES!? Even if they see me film myself the thought is going to run though their mind for a few seconds and then they’re going to move on with their day and forget about it. I’m in the gym for me and i need to do what’s best for me and stop worrying about others!.

So earlier this week i completed the #peachplanchallenge and i am loving these ab exercises!! i add them into my workouts at least 2-3 times a week! slowly starting to get my motivation back for going to the gym(yay!!). So I like to either use these as a basis for an abs circuit or just for a little play around at the end of another workout to really tire myself out! ⁣

Obviously the only thing equipment wise you need here is a ball! Make sure it’s the right height as sometimes you can feel too high or too low, also an easy one to do when they gym is busy/equipment is taken or at home if you have a ball.⁣

What will life be like when I’m completely comfortable and have accepted my body?
I used to think that it meant I would look in the mirror every day and admire my body. Constantly be checking myself out amping myself up for how amazing I finally think I look, finally getting my confidence from my appearance. (Spoilers I was super wrong)
The truth is that when you find acceptance in/with your body (which doesn’t happen overnight, it takes a ton of unlearning and healing), the way it looks becomes pretty much irrelevant. Mostly because you’re too busy focusing on all the other way more significant things in your life, like...
What you are capable of, your friends, family, loved ones, activities, new found hobbies, freedom with food, finding and thriving in your circle of support and so much more!
You will be too busy immersing yourself fully in each and every experience, encounter and relationship more and more. Because you are not distracted with the worry of what your body looks like.
You’ll buy the outfit you never thought you could wear, eat the foods you were afraid of, love yourself and others harder than you ever thought you could and fully step into your power as a human being.❤️ Your body is your home, but what’s beyond the skin you’re in, is far more miraculous.🥰

Beautiful, long walks are my favourite ❤️ It’s days like these that make me so thankful I live in Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 So many beautiful places around that are right on your doorstep! And there’s nothing better than that fresh air in your lungs! 😌 Now back home with a cuppa cuddled up on the sofa watching Harry Potter!⚡️Going to train tonight and have a nice little swim after to finish off a lovely chilled, Saturday! Feeling so zen 🤣🙏🏻 It’s amazing how a little self TLC can make you feel! Hope you all have a lovely day whatever you’re up to! 💕

Safe to say I am sick of eating shit and feel so groggy and watery 🙂

Off to smash out some cardio in the next few hours to hopefully shift some bloat and get those steps up 😌

It’s okay to be not okay. Even when you are swamped with stress, when you are at the low point of your life or when you are not the person who you are expect to be, it’s okay. You don’t have to stay perfect all the time. Give yourself a hug and move on. -

-The priceless view of this life journey for me actually happens when I spend time to find myself and bring her back to the track. -

-Life has ups and down. We can shake when we feel weak but after the tides we stand stronger.
