Wondering how to make smart choices when you eat out? Or how to avoid the dreaded morning after feeling you get when you drink? Here are some tips to ease your worries. 🥘 Food wise don’t leave home starving. It’s the worst thing you can do. Snack on some raw veggies and drink a few glasses of water while you get ready and wait for your @uber. Skip the bread at dinner and make sure your appetizer choices are heavy on the veggie side and lesser on the meats and cheese. .
🥘 try sharing main dishes they are usually too big for one person and it’s fun to share. Eat slowly and remember to chew this decreases the likelihood of you over eating and it’s best for your digestion. It’s amazing how full you feel when you slow down the pace. .
🍸 Drinks wise....stick to clear liquor or wine and easy on the bubbles because the sugar makes for a rough morning. The darker the alcohol the worse the after math. My go to is usually a white tequila on the rocks with an orange wedge 😍 or a vodka on the rocks and a splash of soda. I recently tried @healthywithnedi martini which was delish! This is a vodka based martini with muddled cucumbers and mint and a splash of lime. 😍 As for the vino, I find that white or rose is always the way to go for me. Red just gives me rhinitis or a headache even while drinking it, sad but true. 🤷🏻♀️ I guess sommelier is off my list of possible careers 😂 Always do extra water throughout your night to avoid excess dehydration. .
