What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?
GOSH! YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW ENERGETIC RACHEL IS THROUGHOUT THIS BOOK. She has that subtle humour with loads of positivity and a bag full of explosives that will set your ass on fire to do something BIG IN YOUR LIFE. This book is especially for women. She didn't throw away advices just like that. She had an example for everything from her own life itself. It felt like a pep talk, A friendly conversation. BUT THIS BOOK WAS PROBLEMATIC IN MANY PLACES. She was fat shaming more than couple of times and keep on setting goals for great boobies, slim figure, and millionaire status. I understand she is trying to empower women by insisting us to be unapologetic and do whatever we want but she is also contradicting her statement by telling things like what successful women should do, this is how they dress, this is how they look and bla bla bla. Like, come on, not everyone's success is measured by their bank balance or how they look. Definition of success differs with every single person on the earth. I GET WHAT SHE INTENDED TO EXPRESS but the constant glorification of her status and appearance was little annoying to me. And as I said earlier, there were many good things to the book, it was motivational, positive and energetic but the negatives were very clear too. Those things could trigger people with mental illnesses and eating disorders. It equally had both positives and negatives to it. And I would recommend it if you can differentiate those things and able to pick up only the positive aspects because there were good lessons too. This review was the toughest to write because I don't know which side of the book I am more inclined to. So I would suggest you to read the above points and decide if you want to read the book or not.
