3️⃣ Reasons why you might not be seeing progress: ❌Problem: You don’t have clear cut goals.
✅Solution: Sit down and write out your goals and work backwards from the end goal to figure it how you’re going to get there. How much weight do you want to lose, how much weight do you want to squat. Whatever the goal- make it clear and concise and true to your personal wants and needs.

❌Problem: You aren’t fully committed to your goals you do have.
✅Solution: If the goals you’ve chosen aren’t truly what you want or you hate the plan you’ve put in place to reach them, then you’ll half ass any attempt to get to your end goal and thus the end goal never arrives. Be realistic about what YOU truly want not what you think you should want and be realistic about the time it’ll take to reach it, losing 20lbs in a month is not a realistic goal and just sets you up for misery and failure.

How to ‘chill out’ when you’re a mummy 😂😂😂
Both of them squished into me, in the smallest space on the couch 🛋 
Today has been lovely and chilled - a lunch trip to @wagamama_uk a trip to a few shops and then home to watch movies, build dens and enjoy being indoors this afternoon when the rain would.not.stop ☔️
I fit in a 20 minute @thebodycoach workout which Oscar joined in with! It was super hard and involved a lot of squat and lunge jumps as well as burpees, thrusters and crunches. I’m getting stronger and more able to do the actual version of the exercises but I still listen to my body and modify where needed for example I haven’t got the abdominal strength to hit the floor in a burpee so I give it my all to the point I can get to - I know if I go at my pace ill build my strength up and eventually get there 🏋🏼‍♀️👌🏼

Some of you know, but these last few weeks life has gotten crazyyy busy for me. 😬 I got a promotion at work 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 so I’m working more days and longer hours. -
I’m still in my bulking phase, which I LOVE!!! 😍😍 But I haven’t gotten to the gym nearly as much as I’ve wanted. I love home workouts, but the gym, for me, just provides a better workout. 🏋🏻‍♀️

Also, after next week I’m suppose to be going in to the cut phase, which I’m VERYYY nervous about😟. Especially after recovery from an ED. -
So all in all, I’m taking life one step at a time. This fitness journey is about balance. Life will get in the way and priorities will change. But I’m keeping myself focused on my goals and trying my best to figure it all out. -

First off lets start off with a lot of these exercises are going to overlap since there's a few exercise that basically hit the whole entire back, one being the deadlift since it almost hits the entire body, haha!

So what I have here is the major muscle groups of your back and if you want a well developed back, you're going to have to hit all the angles (i.e. vertical, horizontal, etc...).

Let's go over some of the breakdown:

Latissimus Dorsi:
-Everyone knows these as the wings of our backs and probably the most famous of the back muscles. These muscle will create the illusion of a V-taper and making the appearance of your waist smaller than it actuall is. The muscle is located from under your armpit area and the back of the ribs.

-Lat Pulldown
-Pull-Ups
-Barbell Rows
-Dumbbell Single Arm Rows
-Deadlifts

Trapezius:
-The Traps, the most powerful and largest of the back muscle groups. The trapezius is located from the collarbobe frontal view and reach all the way down to the lower back region. Most pay attention to the upper portion of the traps but a well developer trapezius will be worked from the top, middle and lower fibers.

-Shrugs
-Deadlifts
-Farmers Walks

-These guys are tiny and are located underneath the trapezius, they originally come from the vertebrae and attach to the scapulae. Whenever you squeeze your shoulder blades together and retract these are the muscle you are using in order to perform this task.

-T-Bar Rows
