Going to be brutally honest, I both hate & love water. When I drink too much water I get a stomach ache no idea why. Since Keto Flu it's been a little hard to drink it. Been drinking alot of Electrolytes to keep hydrated and  get more energy. As some of you will no I am on a journey not just in to fitness but also my mental health! 
I am still working hard to make my self stronger each day learning to be more empathetic (look at me using big words) I’m learning to control my ocd better and recognise thinks that cause me anxiety and what has kept me going is this caption it’s kind of become my unofficial motto I got it from mr @davidgoggins who is a bit of a hero of mine but every time I need to get a task done whether it be In the gym/work or day to day life it gets me through

Started back at the gym in jan doing 2 PT'S each week and what i can at home! sticking to a diet best i can and trying to have a more positive outlook on life and my health!

💬A: Having DOMS does not mean you had a good/ better workout or even necessarily equate to muscle growth. In fact if your having excessive DOMS you might want to take a look at why. ✨You could be experiencing DOMS for a number of reasons: poor warm up/ cool down, genetic factors, dehydration or poor sleep habits. ✨

Following on from yesterday’s post on Progressive Overload, today we look at The deload week and what they’re important☝🏻This phase in a training program simply means that the intensity and volume of your workouts are far easier than the previous weeks👌🏻By scheduling them at specific points in your program you allow the body to do a number of different things🤓

The main reason for the deload week is to prepare the body for the increased demand on the next phase/ period of training (𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘢𝘭𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘵𝘩 & 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨)🤙🏻This simply allows the muscles, joints & ligaments to recover, heal and come back stronger than before🤗

Allowing the body to rest also means that you’ll come back better adapted for the subsequent training phase, more focused and stronger overall💪🏻 Use these deload phases to your advantage and program them in well in advance - simply dropping the %s of a given week is often how athletes use this method👌🏻 another way the deload week can be incorporated is if you’re feeling fatigued through training, however we certainly don’t recommend this as the warning signs of needing rest are already present👊🏻

Good morning 5+mile run!!! Ok I'm not a quitter but.... this keto stuff is not for me...after yesterday and today's run...its effecting my pace and I don't like that...I've worked to hard to get faster... plus I think with all the extra workouts I've added I need some more carbs...if it wasn't for my yearly physical I would have some donut 🍩🍩 and chocolate milk right now!!! I'm sure it works for someone but just not me..I did kinda feel the difference but not liking the headaches. So I'm going back to my regular meals but still watching my calories.
