This differs from muscular endurance which can be defined as ‘the ability of a muscle or muscle group to exert a force repeatedly over time’ with examples being repeatedly ‘lifting a small child’ or ‘continuing to hold up a child so he can see overs crowd at a parade. Repeated or sustained contractions in other activities such as yoga or rock climbing also require muscular endurance.’ (Bushman et al. 2017)-

FEELING  READY  TO  SMASH  THIS  PB 🙄⁣

* Lots of focus on strength recently, wanted to build some muscle and test a few areas that I’ve neglected - on and off inconsistent training last year led to a small strength loss which didn’t sit well with me as I like feeling strong - it walks me into ‘older’ age with confidence ⁣😉
⁣
* 70kg bopped up about 6 weeks ago, have been consistently training since with programming from @ironmacfitness #noweaklinkstraining and nutrition guidance from @willfoden ⁣- this dude has me eating A LOT more than I ever have 😋
⁣
* In a few weeks time when I wake up with that same stubborn streak, I’m going to retest and throw up a tad more weight 💪🏼⁣

* Consistency WILL get you results in whichever area you chose, you’ve just got to trust the process!

This squat variation is very similar to the goblet squat but you will likely be able to load more weight and because of the angle of the bar in which you squat may take some pressure off your lower back⁣⁣⁣

1️⃣Place the bar in a corner or between two plates to keep it from rolling. Some gyms will have a designate landmine lever but its too easy to set up your own just like this⁣⁣⁣

2️⃣Deadlift the bar off the ground and wrap both hands around the end of the bar to lock in your grip⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
3️⃣Let the bar rest against your chest and right underneath your chin⁣⁣⁣

4️⃣Assume your normal squat position, feet just outside the hips and toes turned out anywhere from a 15-30 degree angle⁣⁣⁣

I have these super tiny wrists and long thin forearms. So, I spend a good amount of time each week focusing on forearms exercises.  This one is especially good for my wrists.  Slowly, my wrists are gaining some width and I have more stability in my arm/bicep/triceps movements. A day at Head Office means a @tosseduk for lunch. Here we have grilled chicken, roasted peppers, cucumber and avocado salad sprinkled with omega seeds with Caesar dressing. Next time I'll tell them to go easy on the dressing. Still tasty though 😋
