A couple months ago, these 2 sisters entered the gym for their training session, each wearing bright leggings. .

Two other girls were on the treadmill, looked over, and whispered (so they thought) “those 2 should not be wearing leggings ...” .

I looked over at the two bright sisters, saw their faces, and saw them get up and leave .

I was infuriated ... no one should ever be judged on what they wear, their appearance, their training, or ANYTHING! .

Fast forward a couple weeks later. The 2 sisters were at the gym finishing their training.

I went over and acknowledged their hard work, their discipline, and how much I loved their bright leggings (cause they were freaking adorable!) 🌈 .

I told them how motivating it was for me to see them there, as this was a time I was trying to get out of my own rut. .

I’ll never forget their smiles and how their eyes lit up ✨

We chatted back and forth, swapped numbers, and stayed in touch. .

Fast forward to this past weekend where I received this message 👉🏼 swipe .

Moral of the story: one positive comment or gesture can change someone’s life in an instant. .

Tell someone how motivating it is to see their hard work in the gym
.

Give someone a high five in the gym after a set .

Even ask for advice from them on a certain movement they do .

Smile at someone on the street .

Send someone a DM on IG acknowledging their hard work .

Because throughout anyone’s day, you have no idea what kind of day they are having or even the journey they are on. .

Small comments or gestures of positivity and acknowledgment go a long way. .

I encourage you this week to give 1 small comment or gesture to someone .

Someone at the gym, stranger on the street, cashier at the grocery store, follower on IG, etc! .

Doesn’t matter who, but do so with the intent to brighten someone’s day

Niet helemaal mijn ding, maar soms heiligt het doel de middelen 🙏🏻. Deze week, mede door Dominator aanstaande zaterdag 💥, tijd om maar 3 dagen te trainen. Voor spiergroei is het 't meest optimaal om de spieren minimaal 2x per week aan te pakken. Een Full Body - Legs - Upper Body split is voor mij deze week dus de meest logische aanpak 👌🏻.

Het is voor spiergroei absoluut niet optimaal om vaak te wisselen van oefeningen. Om deze reden heb ik enkele oefeningen uit de 3 trainingssessies die ik deze week oversla, samengevoegd tot 1 Full Body sessie. Op deze manier maximaliseer ik de mogelijkheid tot spiergroei, in een week die minder optimaal en anders verloopt als ik normaal gewend ben 💯.

Thought I use a T-Bar handle for a change instead of the standard wide handle commonly used for #LatPulldowns. I have to admit, I feel more comfortable doing them like this. My grip sucks so this makes things so much easier. 👌🏼

1⃣ RDL (Gradually increased the weight in between sets)
2⃣ T-Bar Rows 3 x 8
3⃣ One Arm DB Rows 3 x 10
4⃣ Close Grip Lat Pulldowns 4 x 10
5⃣ Seated Rows 3 x 8

I was pretty tired so couldn't quite do 4 sets for each exercise. Like to leave some time at the end to knock out a sesh on Crosstrainer, Treadmill, whatever I've got the most energy left for. 🏃🏼

This one made me chuckle a bit guys I won't lie!!! 😂 I genuinely used to be that kid who'd flex in every mirror and think I was absolutely massive the moment I had a little bit of muscle growth😂 .

It's worth noting I started training for sport so had no idea the giants of bodybuilding existed back in the day when I was flexing in mirrors with bad arms and even worse acne (I developed very late and I'm still ugly💁‍♂️😂) .

Difference between these pictures is about 3 years, turning 21 in the year the top one is taken and turning 24 this year! Still have a long way to go but at least I've shifted my mindset, learned how to pose and have a respectable amount of muscle mass now. Baby steps right? ☑️😂 .

Just arrived in Bosnia🇧🇦 And here I of course don't have my weights and where I am is only 1 gym that is shitty😂 But there are always ways to train even when having no gym available so here's what I do in order to train and what you can do as well...
The past weeks, I put the emphasis on training with really low reps and high intensities. Because from now on, I'll mainly do bodyweight training and as soon as you reach a certain level, it's hard to create neccesary intensity with bw excersises. So after the phase with high intensities, my focus now goes more on low intensities and high reps. So kind of an alternating periodisation (First 4 weeks of the meso: High intensity/low rep ; Last 3 weeks: Low intensity/high reps).
As I said, most of my training will be bodyweight which will be no problem since I first have years of bw training experience so I know how to train and I still got some bw excersises in my program. But I also took a dumbbell, smaller weights and resistance band with me for my isolation movements.✅
So no gym, no problem, got the workouts for the following weeks planned and I won't lose any muscle or strength in lifts I won't be doing over the next 4 weeks! Planning my training with brain even when on vacation since I love training!💪🏻 •
