I decided to today post pictures from my recent trips. I am trying to get out of the habit of taking pictures and posting them immediately to social media, because for me, it’s starts to take away from the experience. I’ve literally found myself at times trying to hurry up and get the good shot to post on “The Gram.” Nah, not anymore. I’ll post when I am ready, and might be that day, weeks or months after.. Just when I feel the need/want.
Anyway, a few days before my trip, I was searching some where I can get another stamp on my passport. I like to visit and maximize all I can from each trip. I looked on a map and ran my finger over places near Greece, and choose Romania. I saw the tickets were reasonable, and not a long distance from Santorini and hopped for over a couple days. Romania is an Eastern European country that was under communist rule into 1989. Usually, Europe is expensive, but the key is going through Easter Europe (Romania, Croatia, Hungary, etc) where most times the currency is not the Euro, and the designated currency of the country, which is a plus for Americans. I stayed in Bucharest for a couple days, and was surprised at the nightlife and upscale restaurants. Only downside is they smoke cigarettes everywhere! 🇷🇴
