When I started getting focused on “getting back in shape” - I kept thinking, “I want to look like I did before I had kids!”. Today, I scrolled back through some photos from college and thanked my lucky stars that I DON’T look like I did before I had kids. Sure, I was thin. But I wasn’t healthy, and I certainly wasn’t taking care of myself. So here’s a different kind of transformation photo. I may have put 30+ lbs on since then, but I’m happy, I’m healthy, and I’m strong. And that’s the kind of role model I want to be for my daughter.
