This post is going to be dedicated to @lowballergtr ‘s R34 GTR.
The story of this car is simple but confusing at the same time, This Beautiful R34 GTR V-Spec II painted in GV1 Black Pearl was bought brand new in Japan back in 2001 and was imported by MotoRex around the time the company’s performance as an importer (and C-west distributor) started to go down. This car was apparently Pulled from the MotoRex inventory by the original owner after the Compliance wasn’t properly done And had went unnoticed for years. Then in The summer of 2018 the car had resurfaced when it went up for sale by @cncmotors . In order to verify its legality, the new owner “lowballergtr” had to contact Coleman Sachs of NHTSA as well as Sean Morris @tyndago (formerly of MotoRex) to verify the legality of the car, and sure enough The car was fully Legal via US D.O.T bond release When the car was announced, it was deemed by everyone on reddit “Car #12 ” rightfully so as the original DOCUMENTED amount of MotoRex R34’s was 11 Cars. But apparently and correct me if I’m wrong, Sean Morris had also found and confirmed R34’s #13 and #14 . Now, since LowballerGTR Bought this car he has repainted it to really make it shine like it was fresh off of the production line. And has Worked really hard to keep it in Immaculate condition. This car in particular is V-Spec II #1135 /1855 it’s Factory Options Were Apparently Privacy Glass, SatNav and 6 Speakers, The production date was August of 2001 8/01.
