“The ghosts from the past, ingrained in your #heart , may loom large. And it cuts you so deeply when you have to put so many valuable things in a coffin in order to move forward. When you fall, fingers point at your failures, but they often fail to point back at their own failures and how they, in their own way, contributed to your fall. So you assume responsibility because that’s they easy way out of tears and more recriminations.
Living in the shadows is a thoughtful process. A lonely and painful one. But a process often required in order for you to bloom. There’s a #popular saying that states that “grass looks always greener on the other side.” That’s bullocks. Grass looks only the way you what to make it look. It requires a meticulous and sometimes selfish process to give yourself - and your literary grass - to bring the fruits you’ve worked so hard for. And this process must be done at your own time. Not anybody else’s time. Living out of the expectations and standards set by others is setting yourself up for failure.”
Blue opened the metal fence to let Masto into their place. The open space was something almost #mythical , like he had never seen. “Welcome to my new #life and #soul . See those? Those are the #shadows of my past. See this right here? That’s a carefully, and slowly crafted that I have built with #IT .”
- “this is #beautiful ” said Masto as his mouth opened wide in awe. *
- “It’s a lot different than what it was six years ago” replied #Blue . “Breathe in. Smell the air. It even smells a lot different than it ever did.”
