There is some really deep core work going on here as well as stabilising and breath work.

Leonie and I have been working on this for a long time and as you can see she has no trouble balancing the ball and plate as she extends her limbs.

Give this it a go! It really is harder than it looks and an awesome way I love to include mind body connection & little core challenges for clients.

No-one ever needs to do a sit up or crunch again! Just get creative and think outside the box💙

BATTLE ROPE ARMS & ABS!!! 1. BICEP CURLS 3 to failure 
2. TRICEP OVERHEAD  EXTENSIONS 3 to failure 
3.&4. SIDE PLANK WAVES 20-30 sec
5. RUSSIAN TWISTS 20-30sec 
For the first two moves  the rope is securely anchored. Lean back or forward to a challenging but controllable  degree, I suggest staggering the feet "kickstand". Keep core braced , ribs down, chin tucked , body in alignment. 
For the more specific ab work I  did not tie off the other end of the rope to in order to gradually increase the mass of the rope by increasing the length. Keep elbow under shoulder and heels in line with head. Drive down with the elbow, drive up with the hip and press side of feet into ground.

El aire inhalado a través de la nariz debe recorrer la caja torácica y la zona abdominal. Los músculos encargados de la respiración se componen de: diafragma, pecho, cuello y hombros.

Entre un 70-80 % de la respiración debe diafragmática para obtener una inhalación profunda. Este tipo de respiración tiene una serie de ventajas:

Ayuda a realizar un intercambio gaseoso más efectivo en los pulmones.
El diafragma "masajea" al hígado, estómago e intestinos, manteniendo un balance rítmico.
El sistema linfático se beneficia del oxigeno para expulsar productos de desecho.
La presión en el pecho y abdomen se reduce, disminuyendo en trabajo cardiaco.
Los músculos reciben mayor oxigenación.
Reduce el dolor en la zona del cuello y hombros al relajarse el pecho.

So like I said on yesterdays post my bench press has decreased in strength. So my next move is to help improve strength in my secondary muscle. 
In order to do so I will incorporate more strength/power lifts like push presses. Standing Military press is a great lift too, but I prefer push presses. 
I worked all the way up to my heaviest weight i was able to do. Here are my weights and set count
1. 95x5
2. 105x5,
3. 125x5,
4. 150x3
5. 155x2-1 (struggles on the way down 🤭) Now that I know where my numbers are I can use this info to help me improve strength 👌🏻 👍🏻🔥😈🙏👍🏻🤯😊👊🏻

Working on gaining strength from the core down.

Doing Step-ups with Kettlebells creates an unstable movement.

This then forces activation and conditioning of more muscles that the body needs for every day movement.👍 Stepping up onto a block works Quads, Glute Max, Core, Calves. But, by adding instability with the Kettlebells and having to step back down using the same leg, you get to add Glute Med, Tensor Fasciae, Hamstrings, and a lot of of other stabilizer muscles that are needed to move every day.

Alex has been doing really well with his rehab so far and all of these muscles are coming along nicely. He should be proud of his progress.🏆 www livelifeyourway.net.au

La columna vertebral es una compleja estructura ,articulada y resistente, un órgano situado en la parte media y posterior del tronco que va desde la cabeza (a la cual sostiene), pasando por el cuello y la espalda, hasta la pelvis a la cual le da soporte, una buena alienación postural es vital para el funcionamiento correcto de la columna y la prevención de posibles lesiones subyacentes.

Para mantener una alineación postural correcta, nuestra columna debe de estar en su posición más eficiente, de esta manera los músculos se relajan, no se producen sobrecargas en ninguno de estos, ni en nuestras articulaciones que funcionan con el menor desgaste, esto posibilita la realización de nuestros movimientos del modo y manera más eficiente posible, que de otro modo, se produciría una excesiva tensión muscular que con el tiempo se convertiría en patologías de mayor o menor grado.
Si tomamos como ejemplo, movimientos articulares que impliquen la articulación de la cadera, como la patada hacia delante, movimiento que viene marcado por la propia flexibilidad de los isquiosurales y la resistencia de los músculos y ligamentos sacroilíacos y de la columna lumbar, si al realizar este movimiento común existiese una rigidez muscular, provocaría una mala disposición de las articulaciones que derivaría en una sobrecarga de las articulaciones del sacro, con el consecuente dolor, y posterior lesión por repetición.
Una correcta alineación en la columna permite reducir el estrés que se produce en las articulaciones, ligamentos, tendones y músculos adyacentes, para prevenir la fijación de la columna y asegurar un equilibrio para que el movimiento sea efectivo y seguro.Con el conocimiento y el control de nuestra posición anatómica conseguiremos alinear el cuerpo.
