I👏love👏leading👏so👏friggen👏much 👏! This is the man who introduced me to climbing. I went from never having climbed to belaying him on lead in 7 months. Pretty crazy when I think about it actually. I owe him so much for showing me the light! Pretty sure the second pic was taken 2 seconds before I ate it...hard. It was one of those embarrassing falls that the whole gym couldn’t help but watch 😑. Spins were involved. Apart from that, I managed to sent a 17 I was unable to do on top rope while on lead! Feeling stoked on myself for that one.

Notes: I get scared to the point that I don’t want to attempt the move. If I do, I then start worrying about the difficult moves to come, then freak out and inevitably bail. I’m sort of realising that THAT is what this type of climbing is about. Pushing through when you’re scared and not letting your doubtful mental state affect your climbing. I have a long way to go.

Improve your core strength (advanced levels)! 10 reps of each will take you a few minutes a day! Aim for 2-3sets. 
1. Scissors. Pulse the leg towards you twice then quickly switch legs
2. Criss cross. Alternate from twisting to one side then the other.
3. Abdo preps. Slowly curl up towards knees then slowly down again.
4. Oblique twists. Rotate to one side then to the other.
For all: keep natural curve of spine with a tiny gap under lower back- don’t flatten spine to floor. Keep tension out of neck & shoulders. Exhale on the hard part!

Gisteren heerlijk gegeten met zijn tweeën bij @raedthuysdoetinchem De kinderen hadden eigen plannen gemaakt. Vanochtend eerst 3 km uitgebuikt met de hond en daarna ging ik zo vroeg mogelijk hardlopen om de grote warmte voor te zijn.

🍑 Give your side-booty some serious definition with these moves! 💃🏻 Amplify your curves while engaging all your gluteal muscles... these moves will target your waist, abs, obliques, and lower back as well. 🔥🔥🔥 Thats right peaches! ♥️💪Check out my quick tips below before you begin your workout. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Tip 1️⃣ For maximum results, remember to pull your navel into your spine.
Tip 2️⃣ When you're performing the exercises make sure that you go at a controlled pace. Going too fast can cause you to lose your stability.
Tip 3️⃣ When you're performing the exercises make sure you keep a mind-to-glute connection.
Tip 4️⃣ I am wearing 1.5kg ankle weights on each leg. Only add ankle-weights when you can perform all reps on both sides of the body with good form. Always build up slowly and carefully.
Tip 5️⃣ Perform all the moves on one side of your body then repeat on the other side.
Tip 6️⃣ Stick with the training frequency that you know you can be consistent with.
Tip 7️⃣ Workout in a warm room, turn off the air-conditioning to really sweat it out!💦

There are many ways to overload your muscles other than going heavier.⠀
For deadlifts you can increase the ROM by doing deficit deadlifts.⠀
Also, you create more time under tension by playing with the tempo (rate at which you perform each rep).⠀
This deadlift is performed at a tempo of 3020.⠀
Eccentric (down) = 3 seconds⠀
Pause at bottom = 0 seconds⠀
Concentric (up) = 2 seconds⠀
Pause at the top = 0 seconds.⠀

If you have never tried slowing the concentric (up) phase of the movement then you are in for a treat when you try it.⠀

Pulling the abdominals in and drawing the tailbone under helps to keep the alignment between knees, hips and shoulders.
