to me, the healthiest approach to skin wellness basically means we’re supporting the skin’s functions by making sure operations are running smoothly. when systems are working properly, we can expect to see movable loose connective tissue for free flowing blood, lymph and relaxed muscles. loose connective tissue connects all the tissues in your body and it’s where major skin cells collect their nutrients to give glow, but only free flowing blood and lymph can bring good nutrients to the cells. so the goal is to really keep it loose and movable. :) loose as a goose baby.
facial massages essentially provide these benefits by softening and relaxing those tissues. this helps to create healthier cells, which then will influence healthier fibroblasts, which create healthier collagen. just the way our natural bodies intended.
cells like fibroblasts produce collagen, which is the most abundant protein, providing structure, form and resilience to our skin - in other words: keeps the skin youthful, lifted and gleaming.
loose tissue = fibroblast cells getting fed ->
fibroblast produces healthy collagen ->
collagen providing beautiful skin structure or look of overall face :) will communicate this much better on YouTube soon...
