I just need to share my AMAZING experience with Waffles and Whatnot. 
About a week ago, I messaged them asking if they had any low calorie options. The owner made some suggestions but further inquired the range I was looking for. I said <500 but SUPER extra bonus points if he could provide something <400. 
He said, he would make it happen. I was taken aback. No business has ever personalized a dish like this for me. I couldn’t help but be giddy with excitement. 
I came in this morning and mentioned that I had been to one to make this difficult request and he came over and greeted me and was ready to see his promise through. 
HE DID IT!!! He actually provided something dang near 300kcal that kept me satisfied for FIVE hours. 🤯

He later sends me a message showing me that he’s officially ADDED IT TO THE MENU! 
It’s officially known as the “Two’fer One Breakfast Meal”. My 2 eggs, 2 bacon, and Keto birthday cake waffle came to a beautiful 310kcal. It may not be a big deal for everyone, but as for someone who likes to know specifically what they’re eating and how much, I SUPER appreciate it. It was delicious and I’ll definitely be back!

Ich hab heute 'n langen Tag, so dass ich mir 17 SP eingepackt hab. Dazu kommt natürlich noch einiges an Zeropointfood, sonst wär das Baguette nicht drin gewesen & mein Hunger zu groß 😅 'N Wiegeupdate kommt durch meine Trödelei demnach auch erst heute Abend, wenn ich das Zeug schon in mich hineingestopft hab. Yesterday the dentist adjusted my braces so today my teeth hurt soo much. I cannot really chew on solid food so I decided to make 🍌ʙᴀɴᴀɴᴀ ᴄɪɴɴᴀᴍᴏɴ ᴏᴀᴛᴍᴇᴀʟ! yummm😋😋 Now it has become my fav oatmeal flavour!

1.Leftover blackened shrimp 🍤 easy frozen stir fried veggies heated over medium heat for 6-8 minutes (I thaw them beforehand) with coconut aminos added to them. Sooo tasty 😍😍 2.1 piece of salmon with a sprinkle of garlic powder, pepper, salt, and lemon 🍋 squeezed on it cooked over medium heat for 3 mins on each side (get the pan hot first and add olive oil) + sautéed zoodles cooked for 3-4 mins over low medium heat in olive oil + 1/2 avocado 🥑

3.1 piece of skillet chicken leftover from a few meals ago (recipe a few posts back!) + easy broiled sweet potatoes 🍠 + 1/2 avocado 🥑 + tomatoes 🍅

4.leftover @eatbanza chickpea pasta 🍝 with 1 tbsp of avocado oil + 1 tsp garlic powder + 1 tsp onion powder + sprinkle of red pepper flakes + leftover shrimp 🍤 with @primalpalate new bae seasoning + sautéed mushrooms and spinach + 1/2 avocado 🥑

Ay yi yiii diets, dieting, eating habits, eating restrictions ... the list goes on. I’m not here to tell you what eating style is the best for you nor am I going to debate on whether being Vegan, Keto, or Paleo is the supreme ultimate diet for human beings. What I will say is that calories and macros DO matter. I’ve tried every diet under the sun and reflecting back on my trial and error for the past 10+ years, I have concluded that balancing my macros was the key to my progress and results. Creating a caloric deficit is critical when trying to lose weight and this will defer for each person. Factoring in your BMR (calories burned when the body is at rest), calories consumed, calories burned through exercise & activity, and (lastly to complicate the matter) the thermogenic component in certain foods will all be responsible for producing a positive or negative result on your expectations. •

Heute hab ich mich erneut gewogen. Nun ja. 300 Gramm mehr. Ich hoffe, dass dieses Ergebnis daher kommt, dass ich am Wochenende bei meinem Freund war und dort sehr stark gewürzt gekocht wird. Ich werde diese Woche einen verstärkten Fokus darauf legen viel zu trinken und werde mich schon am Freitag erneut wiegen. Da ich häufig an den Wochenenden bei Ihm bin möchte ich diesen Faktor sozusagen eliminieren. Hitting a weightloss plateau is nothing new. It happens because after a long period of time on the same calories, your metabolism adapts, and that becomes your maintenance calories. 
Now, I'm sure everyone has a different way of dealing with a weight loss plateau, but what worked best for myself was returning to my original maintence calories for 2 weeks. This slowly increased my metabolism again, and after the 2 weeks I was able to return to a calorie deficit and begin burning more fat. 
I would not recommend being in a calorie deficit for any longer than 10-12 weeks, however if you need to be in a deficit longer than this to achieve your fatloss, then I recommend incorporating 1-2 diet breaks (after 12 weeks of dieting) back to maintence calories every 2 weeks. But, again, I wouldn't recommend staying in a deficit for any longer than the 12 weeks.

If that signal goes away, your body need to keep your pretty muscle tissue around goes away right along with it.⁣⁣
That’s why the insanely stupid myth of lifting heavier weights to build muscle but then lifting lighter weights ⁣⁣
(for higher reps) when you want to lose fat get lean and get toned is the absolute worst thing you could possibly believe when you’re trying to avoid losing muscle. In reality, you lift heavy weight to build muscle, and then lift that same heavy weight if you want to actually maintain that muscle.⁣⁣

💥Diet slowly ⁣⁣
small calorie deficit (200-500cals)⁣⁣
Why not a larger deficit? Why not reduce calories by a lot more and make fat loss happen even faster?⁣⁣
Well, aside from it worsening metabolic slowdown, hormonal issues, hunger, mood, sleep.⁣⁣
and simply being harder to actually sustain another major downside of a large caloric deficit is that it will have the largest negative impact on training and recovery.⁣⁣
and that means that reducing your calorie intake by too much will increase the potential for strength and muscle loss.⁣⁣
for that reason, I’d recommend most people stick with no more than a moderate deficit. ⁣⁣
