A little insight in today's shoulder workout.💪 ✔Single lateral raise standing 3 sets 12,10,8,6,4,2 ✔Superset 3 sets:
Lateral raise to front raise 8
Seating incline single front raise palm up 8
Reverse seating single front raise 8 ✔3 sets
Barbell upright row wide grip 10
Barbell upright row medium grip 10
Barbell upright row narrow grip 10

Results:
Great pump 🏋️‍♂️and shoulders on fire🔥

It screws with my head having to drop back down in weight now that my legs are healthy again *knock on wood*, I remember back when 315 was working weight and I'd fly through reps so it's humbling to struggle through six of these. 
I started lifting scared. It was visible through my form, and it stuck with me even after the stability returned to my knees. By dropping back down, focusing on form (which was not the best here) and breathing, I'm going to build my strength back correctly.

Last month, I got married! WHOOHOO! 💍

It was such an amazing day! ...but after working so hard to look good in my dress, I let everything go.. Over the last month I have NOT eaten healthy, I have NOT exercised at all, and I have been SO hard on myself because of it... Causing me to feel as though I am in a massive rut.
Previously I had been mixing up weight training and cardio 3-4x a week. Due to this I was able to start week 3 instead of week 1 on Gym Guide 1!

Well... I'm sick of being angry with myself and I'm ready to start feeling like myself again! I can't wait to achieve my goals while keeping #fitwithmari . Let's gain some confidence together ❤

Want bigger arms, focus on the triceps. I went old school with Db Tricep Extensions but any form of extensions are a staple in my arm routine.  Being mobile in my shoulder region allows me to go for the full range of motion without any shoulder impingement. Concentrate on lowering the weight with your triceps, elbows flared out to the sides(puts less pressure on the joint), pause at the bottom and then drive up with extending the arms by flexing the triceps. The weight doesn’t have to be ridiculously heavy, just keep constant tension on your triceps. Because of the strong emphasis on the negative contraction, the triceps may be sore for a few days.  Give them a go if you haven’t in awhile. @bodybuildingcom @newbalance @lululemonmen @lululemon @menshealthmag

All you need is a bench and pair of dumbbells. I’m using a Reebok Deck. ⠀⠀
⠀⠀
The goal is to work near all out effort for 30 seconds of each exercise, resting 15 seconds. At the end of each round you will rest 1-2 minutes. Try and complete 4-5 rounds. Adding speed like this to your workouts is more advanced. For my newer fitness enthusiast or those still working on that stability and core strength. What I am going to suggest is you don’t work speed and high intensity. You work on control, strength and form. Perform 8-10 reps of each exercise in a slower, more controlled motion. Then after you do the 8-10 reps for 3 rounds you go to the stationary bike and do your high intensity intervals there. Doing intervals on the bike doesn’t require as much skill but you get the same effect as the more advance athlete performing this workout as prescribed. You can do 20 second all out sprints on bike at heavy resistance and rest 40 seconds. Go for 6-10 sprints. It’s a great way to build strength and then get in that fat burning cardio. ⠀⠀

2️⃣ plank single leg hop over and back then both legs up on step, then opposite leg over and back- working agility and coordination ⠀⠀
3️⃣Fast jump lunges (3) to explosive step up. Perform on left then right side- working speed, coordination and explosive ⠀⠀
4️⃣plank wall up to row with rotation - core strength, stability, rotation ⠀⠀
5️⃣Jump squat lateral raises- upper and lower body - squat, jump, hinge, lateral raise , coordination, explosive ⠀⠀
6️⃣tricep dip to reverse plank knee drive - core, glutes, strength, .⠀⠀

It would have been so easy to say I was taking the week off working out while I am on vacation. To say, I just want to enjoy my time with my family. It would have been even easier when I realized to the resort doesn’t have free weights. And still even easier when I started to feel sick Sunday morning and not really sleep well at all Sunday night. It would have been so easy to say I was taking the week off working out while I am on vacation. To say, I just want to enjoy my time with my family. It would have been even easier when I realized to the resort doesn’t have free weights. And still even easier when I started to feel sick Sunday morning and not really sleep well at all Sunday night. Anybody needs some weights? I'm out to Virginia Asap, need to clear my room before I go though. I also have one Queen size mattress and one King Sized mattress to either give or throw away but can't leave em. I do not drive so you have to come driving. I live in the same location as the barbershop

Had a half decent work out considering what they've done too our gym. Spanked out some 100lb dumbells on Incline for sets of 9 after ripping heavy flat bench and this was the second set of incline! No lift off and no spot! Not bad! Maybe next week I'll try 105s or 110s!

Those shoulders are finally starting to look pretty decent, after 2.5 years of training (6 months ago I had no shoulders #pointsfaibles)
