Je pense qu'il est plus que temps pour moi de me reprendre en main, du coup j'ai décidé de me couper de tout pendant 3 mois et de me consacrer uniquement au sport et à la nutrition. Pour me motiver j'ai ouvert ce compte instagram pour poster ma progression et la partager avec vous. Maintenant il me reste plus qu'à rester motivé et ne rien lâcher. Je posterais une photo avant-après le 16/05/19 pour voir si mes efforts ont payé.

BLACK BEAN QUINOA CHOPPED SALAD 😋
⬇️
INGREDIENTS (about 6 servings):
- 2 cups cooked quinoa.
- 1 (15oz.) can of black beans, drained and rinsed, OR about 2 cups homemade cooked black beans.
- 1 large green bell pepper, diced.
- 1 large red bell pepper, diced.
- 2 cups cherry tomatoes, quartered.
- 1 small red onion, diced.
- A good handful of fresh parsley or cilantro leaves, chopped.
- 1 large avocado, chopped.
- 1 Tbsp extra virgin olive or avocado oil.
- 3 Tbsp fresh lime juice.
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin.
- Sea salt and fresh ground black pepper to taste (about 1/4 teaspoon each). INSTRUCTIONS:
1) In a large bowl add all the ingredients and very gently stir to combine.
2) You can serve this immediately or place in airtight containers and refrigerate.
3) It keep well for up to 3 days, and it's actually tastier the next day, as the flavors blend together.
4) Avocado does pretty well in this salad thanks to the fresh lime juice...but you COULD add avocado immediately before serving if you're planning to make ahead.

Most people’s goals are very general and consist of losing weight and developing healthier habits. For these people it’s usually not necessary to go to the gym every day to get the results you want.

A lot of the time my suggestion is to just be active every day and then do a tough  resistance training workout once or twice a week. .
This method results in more adherence and a higher quality of life. But of course if you have very specific goals then that would require a different approach. .

You can't out train a crappy diet. Today was one of those long days with no time to eat. Would have been so easy to grab a fast meal on the road, but I knew I had good food at home and I am liking the results I have been getting from eating clean. So, hydration was the name of the game while I anticipated a hot yummy dinner with a movie later this evening. This is a cheap, tasty & fast go-to meal that does the trick when you're short on time and need flavour. 
Recipe:
- Sautée minced ginger
- Toss in frozen cooked shrimp
- Add minced garlic
- Splash in some dry spirit (I use a cool non-alcoholic 'gin-like' concoction made from herbs) and reduce for a minute over high heat stirring often.
- Add in hot sauce, minced parsley, chopped green onion & salt to taste.
Served tonight on a bed of curried rice.
Voila! Tasty nutritious dinner in less than 10 minutes.🍽🍤📺
