Hello ji, 🙌
So I use to read fast, like dividing a four hundred pages book into 4 parts and reading 100 pages per day, this was normal for me.
But then I joined this community and people were like "bhai itni taiz kaise". I just want to tell you that, it is something I have developed over time. I love reading. I work at a private firm so compare to many other fortunate people I do not get much time. Whenever I get time, I read, whether it's an extended lunch break or free time after office hours when I have to wait for my colleagues ( abb ye na pochna q wait karte hain)
But trust me reading is not a marathon. This is not a race. Stop competing. Stop expecting that I will post a review every other day (btw I love your DMs). After joining this community there was this one girl who has really helped me slow down and get back to a pace where I again tend to enjoy my reading more (comparatively it still is fast she says). But I just want to tell you that reading is more about feeling the book, the emotion of characters, the thrill, relieving the stress of working for hours, learning new things and much more.. From now onwards I have decided to read at more enjoyable pace. I won't ask you how many books you have read this month?
Reading many books does not matters, how much you enjoy reading them does.
I want to thank @_readtowrite04_ for helping me and @ambivert.booktique for putting up that caption yesterday.
