I have been passionate about the beauty and diversity of our planet ever since I was a child and for me it is a constant source of wonder and inspiration.
When I started working, I would have loved to find a job relating to nature and conservancy, but I don’t even know if that type of job existed, I didn’t know what to do, where to go, and I had no credentials and no connections.
So I started working in marketing which at least allowed me to be creative and gave me strong business skills. I also started travelling, going on adventures around the world, feeding my need for exploring and using my trip experiences to feed my artistic work.
From adventure to adventure, you get to know and connect with people and I have been lucky to meet very passionate fellow adventurers along the way. It gave birth to some wonderful projects like this one which was an homage to the Arctic region and today my art allows me to go back to my original wish to work with nature and conservancy.
If you struggle too to start in what you picture as your dream job, or don’t know how to go about your dreams, just keep moving forward and exploring. Life is not a straight line, it is made of adventures, of connections over time. There isn’t a one size fits all and it is always good to remain open to serendipity and surprises.
Simply keep your dream in mind as the main direction you’re heading to, it is your compass, then the way to get there might not be what you envisaged in the first place, but there always is a way and the only thing to do is to venture onward.
