Its been a long time since I did an introduction.
So here is a bit about me and my journey.
So I'm Tom. I'm in my mid 30's, married with 2 awesome kids.
I was born and raised in the south east of England. I was always a quiet shy kid as I towered above everyone else, being 6 ft tall by the time I was 13. Being easy to pick out and easily picked upon was the main starter for my shocking social anxiety.
I was always happier on my own or in small familiar groups. That's how my love for motorbikes grew. Never one for group rides, but solo on the open road is just bliss. Had a few I'm my time, and I'm sure there will be more. Also a big gamer (when I have time) again solo games mostly.
When I was 20 my family and i moved to Australia. That was rough mentally. Trying to find like minded people, try and find a job, fit in. All the fun stuff.
Then I met my soon to be wife. Got happy, ate out more, changed jobs, moved less, got lazier. Put on weight. From there is was a 7-8 year spiral of gain weight, feel shitty, eat, gain more weight and so on. I'm pretty sure I eventually topped out at over 170kgs, but I have no idea. The scales we had only went to 150, they errored out when I used them. I had little to no portion control and an raging sugar addiction.
It was a no holds barred fight between sugar, salt and meat. Fueled by my anxiety, my lack on self control and laziness. It would change later, but that's the next post. .
