If you have started to revert back to old habits...here is what you do👇🏻
We are making headway in our journey towards overcoming our disordered eating, we are finally feeling "in the groove" with working on our health, eating well, etc....and then BOOM, something happens
We start to doubt ourselves, we start to remember how much easier it was to be living in our old habits, we tell ourselves that "maybe it's not the right time", "I'm not strong enough", "I can't do this right now"
🛑 STOP RIGHT THERE🛑
We all have days were we doubt ourself and wish we had never started down this path in the first place, but HOLD UP, this is what you do!
1️⃣Go back to when you first decided to start down this path...why did you start? What motivated you then? Go back to that and remind yourself why you started in the first place.
2️⃣Find a motivator that is ahead of you. Imagine what your life could look like if you kept going & didn't stop. Find that future that you want and WORK FOR IT.
3️⃣Take a deep breath and remind yourself that it is OKAY to want to give up. It is OKAY to want to go back. But, also remind yourself that you are as strong as you want to be, and ARE capable of pushing through!
4️⃣Find ONE THING that you can do in that moment, today, or this week that will push you forward, and commit to just that! Keep putting one foot in front of the other, and you will make it to your destination!
