🔥 Why You're Not Losing Fat 🔥
Let's face it... putting in the time to exercise and eat right is big commitment. A worthwhile commitment, but still takes a lot of energy from you.
This list here is not exhaustive but a good starting point if you're already working out regularly and not seeing results.
❌ Focusing on an outcome (you have no control over an outcome)
✔️ Focus on the habits / processes instead, these you have control over. (i.e. exercising 3-4x a week, eating healthy 90% of the time, 6-8 of sleep, etc)
❌Eating under 1200 calories (if you're alive right now, you should be eating more)
✔️Focus on eating the right balance of calories and macros for your body and goals. There are plenty of free online tools that can help.
❌ Sleeping under 5 hours a night (simply not enough to allow your mind and body to heal)
✔️ Focus on getting to bed at least 15-30 minutes earlier for a couple weeks. This is super important for you.
❌ You are STRESSED all the time
✔️ Look, I am a father of 2 and a business owner (I understand stress)... It's very important to learn how to take back control. Begin by practicing 'being present' in every moment. This will help you avoid anticipating the future or re-living the past. You can also practice breathing techniques to get your parasympathetic nervous system back on track (a topic for another post)
But most importantly, stay consistent. You will overcome this... for perseverance is the secret to success.
