Today is the 1 year mark of my journey to a healthier me. I remember reading @the.muscle post on a 60 day transformation challenge to promote his supplement company @1missionnutrition over and over. The timing was perfect as earlier that morning I had weighed myself for the first time in a long time. I had been terrified at what I saw. 338 pounds.. Woah.

I knew I needed to make some serious changes and the challenge would be a good post BUT it required me to post before photos. I literally bawled looking at the before photos. I shook as I typed up the post to go with the photos. Finally after about 2 hours of talking myself into it I hit share.

60 days passed, the scale read 40 pounds lighter than previously, we took after photos, I made side by side comparisons, stared at them trying to see the changes and debates even submitting them because I failed to see any change. I finally did it. To my surprise I won the challenge!

I continued my progress. Today I weight 113 pounds less than I did this time last year.

I really wanted to hit my 1 year anniversary under the 200 mark but I failed. I will keep going and I will one day get to celebrate the scale finally starting with a 1. Today I am proud of myself for not quitting. Today I am proud that I finally stopped wishing to make changes and actually made the changes. Today I want you to know that YOU CAN DO IT TOO! Start now and simply don't stop!

There is another 60 day challenge starting now. I am entering and would love for anyone wanting an accountability partner to joint me, just let me know 💜

🚨 Low Carb vs Keto 🚨 
Hey y’all! Today is day one switching from Keto to a low carb, whole food diet. Don’t get me wrong Keto fam, Keto is awesome! However, for those who haven’t seen my video, I struggle with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. It’s a hormonal disorder that causes me to be insulin resistant and having small cysts on my ovaries. One of my biggest symptoms is my acne 😩 This is gonna be a long process till I’m 100 percent comfortable talking about my insecurity with acne. However, I hope to bring encouragement to those awesome butt kicking woman who fight PCOS 💪🏼. After doing tons of research, I have found that limiting dairy and red meat can help control PCOS naturally. I do not take Metformin or anything Hotmail medications due to side affects, and I strongly believe in Holistic healing and that starts with diet! I have been on Keto a year and it’s helped regulate my period and hopefully I’m ovulating 🤞🏻 . However, my acne is acting up again and my weight loss has come to a halt. And I would like to eat more healthy vs Keto with bad fats. Everyone’s body is different, and if Keto works for you, great! But I hope to surround myself and also offer support to my PCOS sisters 👯. Finished my workout off with some squat jumps 2 sets of 20. At this point I’m on my second set, my thighs are burning and my knee is hurting ( I had a knee injury before) You can see me struggling to finish off. Look for progress not perfection!

For back workouts in particular, especially for rows it is absolutely essential to get a full and tight contraction rather than fast explosive repetition! -
Form Tip👉 Stand tall and have good posture while pulling this weight. Puff that chest out and tightly squeeze each rep until failure!

💯😛🍴🍔Here's my try on what they call a "Juicy Lucy" (or Jucy Lucy) in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Burger stuffed with onions, peppers and go veggie pepper jack cheese. No bread, lactose free.. ..I had to try and clean it up a little bit for the diet 😋. One day when I make that Mall of America trip, I'm gonna need an authentic Juicy Lucy, cheese n all 😆. Hoy me siento muy feliz de poder compartir esta receta con ustedes se cuanto les gusta!

Aqui voy me cuentan si les gusto

Pan Integral con Avena y Linaza #hechoamano #hechoencasa

Ingredientes 🍞:
🔰Harina de trigo todo uso 310g
🔰Hojuelas de avena 190g
🔰Linaza molida y en granos 60g
🔰Agua 210ml
🔰Huevo 1 unidad
🔰Azúcar 44g (puedes usar azúcar de coco)
🔰Aceite de oliva o de coco 50ml
🔰Sal 10g
🔰Levadura 12g

Preparar📣: En un bowl agregar todos los ingredientes amasar y sobar, bolear y dejar reposar 30 minutos tapado.

Luego debes amasar para sacar el aire estira y envuelve para dar la forma a tu pan llevar al molde y luego dejar tapado por 2  horas o hasta duplicar su tamaño, llevar al horno por unos 20 minutos

Listo a disfruta!

Por ser integral no quiere decir puedes comer doble porción.

First off , I took a little over a week off from the gym and today’s leg day completely destroyed me🥵 Went light(225) on squat and it felt heavy  af and followed it with the superset of RDLs and Heel Elevated Goblet Squats💀 I’m never taking a full week off from the gym again ☠️🙅🏽‍♂️
