I don’t like letting myself get hangry. There was a time that if I knew I was going out to dinner, I would eat very light all day so I’d have more points to splurge at dinner. I would always pre-track my dinner, but by the time I got there, I was so hungry that I was snappy, completely disregarded my plan, and totally over-ate. Today, I did the same thing - planned what I’ll eat for dinner - but made it work into a plan where I could have a filling, pre-dinner protein shake @dotfit. I feel good about sticking to my choices tonight 🍷🥩🍤⁣

•Side lunges 10 x each side
•Cable pull throughs x 10
•Calf raises x 10 each (neutral, toes in, toes out) burns so good
•Lying plate hip abduction x 15 each side 💀 if you’re looking for a quick exercise to add in your leg day this is the one for you! This was my first time adding these & boyyyyy did I underestimate them

Last night I went back to pole for the second time since having Matilda.
There are no pictures from the first class as...well...I couldn’t do much!
I’ve lost a lot of strength (and gained some extra weight🙈) but it felt so good to get back to it!
Even managed an extended bow and arrow! Thanks @tim.pole For the help and encouragement and @laura_polerina For the shot!

My ANSWER: It’s not that you’re not working hard enough. It’s that in order for your body to change, you have to progressively work a little harder; every single workout.

My biggest TIP: Try adding a personal ‘challenge’ to every workout.

Lift MORE: Whether it’s kettlebells, dumbbells, or a medicine ball, challenge yourself to use a slightly heavier weight than what you’re used to. Using 10 pounds instead of 8 pounds may not sound like a lot, but your muscles will feel the difference!
.
Rest LESS: Whether it’s between exercises or sets of exercises, cut your rest time short. Resting for 90 seconds instead of 2 minutes will help burn more calories and body fat.
.
These subtle changes will help boost the intensity factor of your workouts, force you to gradually work a little bit harder and create results you can see!
