Happy Easter everyone 🐣🐰 Lets cut straight to the chase.  Everyone is going to indulge in chocolate for the next few days even myself.  There is nothing wrong with having little luxuries like these, it only becomes a problem if your consistently consuming more calories than you burn.  For weight loss it is this simple.  You have to be in a calorie deficit which means you have to burn more calories than you consume.  Simple isn’t it?  You don’t have to eat salads or chicken, rice and broccoli every single day, you just have to be sensible and consistent with your food choices which means you could live off chocolate if you really wanted to 👍🏼 Not something I would recommend or encourage but I can not make you make food choices that is entirely up to you! MealPrep Teriyaki Chicken Bowls & homemade teriyaki with rice + veggies

makes about 4 servings
1.5 lbs. Chicken breasts, diced
1. 5 Tbsps sesame oil, divided
4 cups frozen stir fry veggies of choice
2 cups cooked brown rice, or quinoa
1 Tbsp sesame seeds, to garnish

For the Teriyaki Sauce: (makes 1 cup sauce)
2 fresh garlic cloves, minced or pressed
2 Tbsp fresh ginger, finely grated
1.5 Tbsps raw honey
1/3 cup coconut aminos
1/2 cup broth (vegetable, or chicken)
1/2 Tbsp gluten free flour

Instructions:
In a small bowl whisk all sauce ingredients together: set aside.
Preheat 1 Tablespoon of the oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium high heat. Add in chicken and cook for 4-5 minutes until almost cooked through.
Pour the homemade teriyaki sauce over and cook until sauce thickens and chicken is fully cooked; just a few more minutes.
Heat remaining oil in a separate large skillet over medium heat; cook frozen vegetables until just tender, 5 to 7 minutes.
Assemble the bowls with 1/2 cup cooked rice each, 1 cup of veggies then divide teriyaki chicken between the 4 bowls.
Garnish with sesame seeds and enjoy!
Refrigerate for 3-5 days or freeze for up to 2 months.

1. Adjust your foot stance, personally I prefer a narrower stance(feet hip width apart). This is what I naturally find most comfortable, however this varies from person to person. You may find that a wider stance (shoulder width apart) may be more suitable for you.✅ •
2. Make sure the bar is going directly over the middle of your feet (laces).✅ •
3.As the bar is crossing over the middle of your feet(centre of  mass), it will allow you to be as efficient as possible at lifting the bar off the floor.✅
•
4. Try keeping the bar close to your shins, as the bar travels upwards keep it as close to you as possible.✅ •
5. You want to make sure that your hips are in the hinged position (hips should be above your knees and shoulders above your hips).✅
•
6. Sit back into your hips until your shins make contact with the bar. This will allow you to engage the glutes and the hamstrings, and put you in the most efficient position possible.✅ • 
7. Grab the bar right outside of your knees, by doing so the lift will be a lot easier to perform as the bar has to travel less.✅
•
8. You want to make sure that your shoulder blades go directly over the bar, this will put your body into a more vertical position (keeping your chest up).✅
•
9. As you are pulling the bar of the platform, you want to think of the floor as a leg press so the idea is that you are pushing your legs through the floor until you reach full extension.✅

10. During the lowering phase sit back into your hips until you return to the starting position.✅

Dat we veel paaseieren eten is niet zo gek, de winkels liggen er vol mee. Best moeilijk om dat dan te weerstaan toch? Ze zijn klein en lijken daardoor onschuldig. Helaas, niet is minder waar.

Met elk chocolade paaseitje dat je in je mond stopt, krijg je ongeveer 45 calorieën binnen. Om dit te verbranden moet je weer 10 minuten wandelen, 8 minuten fietsen of 5 minuten hardlopen. 
Eet je toch (veel) te veel? Dit is echt geen drama. Geniet ervan en pak de “gezonde” levensstijl morgen weer op. 
Fijne dagen toegewenst en nogmaals, vergeet vooral niet te genieten!

I love fruit. It’s great stuff. I’m not with the Keto Police licking down your door if you look covetously at a banana. It’s really good to have fruit in your diet.
If you are struggling with weight, however, and particularly if you have gained 5 1/2 lbs in the last 2 weeks, then swapping out the biscuits and crisps for fruit when you have the urge to snack probably isn’t the best idea. Having an orange instead of a chocolate digestive biscuit may feel a lot more virtuous but it’s exactly the same number of calories.

Before you wonder whether I have gone over to the dark side, there is no second picture of me pouting in sponsored gymwear nibbling a chocolate biscuit exhorting you to eatwatchalike and be happy - no-one wants to see that shit and no-one needs to hear that shit.
Instead, how about not snacking? How about planning your meals and not swapping out one between-meal extra for another? Have a glass of water instead. That’ll do you a lot more good.
And, in general, eat more leafy green vegetables rather than more fruit. Trust me, you really can’t overdo it on kale.
And Jessica? You are not a fat shit. Don’t talk to yourself like that. However much you gained last week you can take it off again. Just not by snacking.
