The last month I have been trying something new! Instead of eating my proats for breakfast I have been munching them down about an hour before my work out. So far I am liking this change in routine a lot more and I do feel like I have the extra energy needed to get through each set with minor problems. The second picture is an example of one of the workouts we did this month! Happy MONDAY! There is no and to this fitness game. It's forever baby. Find new ways to challenge yourself.  I hate hyperextentions but I did 100. I hate pull ups but I did 50(assisted ). I killed the upper body today. I only got to video 6 workouts but I did wayyyy more than that. My back and biceps and shoulders are on🔥🔥🔥

Celebrating the little things in life that sometimes we often forget to. It doesn’t matter how small the reward is. At least you achieved it or accomplished something. But today I celebrate 20 years of being myself. I am imperfect which makes me learn from my past mistakes.Growth is what I strive for but the process is slow and it’s understanding because you can’t do everything all at once. ESPECIALLY at a holiday or family gathering where everyone else is eating them. And how can you turn down Grandma’s home-made dessert?

So what do you do? Tell everyone when you’re there that you don’t eat that kind of stuff. And tell them WHY you don’t. Not the bullshit, “I’m trying to lose weight.” But the real reason, tell them, “I’m trying to get rid of extra fat BECAUSE I’m tired of not being able to play with my kids.” Or whatever the reason may be.

Once they understand the REAL reason, they will be more likely to support you and not offer you that piece of cake.
•
So for me personally, I’m not trying to lose weight, I’m trying to gain it. But that doesn’t mean I eat like crap. I try to stay away from anything with bad oils and added sugar (which is pretty much everything) because they cause inflammation that leard to injuries and illness.

So what did I do? I made the “healthiest” choices with what was provided. I had ham, broccoli slaw, and potato salad. The average person might think that’s a healthy choice. Which it might be depending on what they are used to eating.
•
Ham is a processed meat (processed meat is the only type of meat shown to have negative health affects) and it was covered in a sugary glaze. The broccoli slaw and potato salad had mayonnaise in it which contains soybean oil.

Don’t let hollidays become an excuse to throw your health out the window. Remember your WHY.

Weekend is almost here & hopefully I can go to the gym 😁😁😁.... I am beyond over working out at home. I know it's a workout , but mama LOVES lifting heavy ass shit ... & since the housing gym here is taking its sweet time to open again. also they might take another month 🙄 I'm just done waiting lol I'm looking into squat racks,barbells, all them good stuff. If anyone know of a good set let me know 😁😁😁.
