One thing I think clients and trainers alike need to realize is that not every trainer is meant for every client. ⁣

I think there’s a huge poverty mentality among trainers when it comes to clients. ⁣
⁣
Sure, we believe that we can serve everyone. ⁣
⁣
But realistically, we can’t! ⁣
⁣
If our personalities alone don’t mesh with a client, then there’s no way we can reach them enough to teach them and help them. ⁣
⁣
I have met many trainers that are rude to other trainers just because they think their clientele is threatened. ⁣
⁣
👉 but the reality is that there’s plenty of clients to go around. ⁣
⁣
We cannot possibly serve everyone. ⁣
⁣
🤜 FOR CLIENTS: if you have a trainer that is not giving you results, but also doesn’t refer you to someone that can better help, DITCH THEM! ⁣

Why do some people give up on exercise/eating healthy? 
1.	You don’t have a specific goal.
If you say things like “I want to lose weight”, or “I want to tone up”, ask yourself, what do you actually mean? Losing weight on the scales might just mean you have lost some water weight, but not fat. Think about what you want your end goal to be. Is it a shape, a size or a specific number? The clearer you are in your goals, the easier it will be to create a plan of action you can adhere to.

2.	You only want to lose weight for a specific event.
If you want to lose weight because you have an event coming up, e.g. a wedding or holiday, it’s harder to motivate yourself to continue eating healthier or exercising once your event is over. When you no longer have the event to prepare for, it’s easy to slip back into old habits. Try to make eating healthier & getting exercise part of your daily routine, so that it becomes a habit rather than a chore. Focus on how good it will feel to have more energy or boost your mood, rather than on how you can wear 1 outfit on 1 day of the year.

3.	You only want to lose weight to get validation from others.
If you want to lose weight to please others, e.g. you’re worried your partner no longer finds you attractive, a friend/family member commented on your weight, or you’re worried about how people at said event above might judge you, then it can be harder to find the motivation to stay healthy long-term because your drive is wrapped up in other's expectations rather than your own. I’m  guilty of this one, so I know it's tough. I still worry if I’m doing the right thing & what others will think & you know what? It’s tiring. You know what else? Others give less of a shit bout what I’m doing than I think they do. They’re busy with their own stuff. So, really think about your own reasons why. Why do YOU want to be healthy? What does it mean for YOU?

La semaine reprend et les séances avec. Les jours se ressemblent que par leur nom. Retour de vacances, jetlag, weekend a Dijon...depuis que nous sommes rentrés le rythme est intense. Je le ressens au sein des séances. J'adapte les charges à ma fatigue physique. Même si cela peut sembler frustrant car on a cette sensation d'être moins performant, je décide d'accepter cette fatigue passagère...même si ce n'est pas simple 😩.
C'est fou comme une goutte de moins bien peut vite se rependre...pourtant quand tout va pour le mieux.. C'est plus éphémère.
Je me souviens dans mon époque commerce, lorsque j avais plusieurs clients sympathiques, la journée s'annonçait bien...1 client chiant, et ta journée est bousillée. Comment une personne peut arriver à ruiner toute l'énergie positive en amont? 
Serait ce peut-être la place qu'on lui accorde?
Pour le sport c'est pareil. Ca se passe souvent au top...un jour de moins bien et on est plus bas que terre...aujourd'hui j'aimerai que le positif prenne le pas...

Even though I may be on my 9th client for the day and I have been going full-out for many hours, I know that when my next client walks in, it is only the beginning for them. They’ve entrusted me with their health and fitness goals, and want help to fast track their results. What I do during my time with them will really make or break their achievement over the long term. They want 100% from me and I am here to deliver 110%.

There is NO session that I step into unmotivated. I know the transformational power of fitness and the miracles it can produce in your mindset and the rest of your life. Last week I went to @calmyogastudio organized workshop "Neal's Yard Remedies Aromatherapy Restorative Workshop."
It was blissful two hours. Last week I needed it more than ever. I was so switched on all week. Working on my e-book, blog, working, moving house, packing boxes and unpacking. My mind was all over the place. I was not even close to calm. I was tired out. And from someone who is so passionate about mindfulness and not burning out I was extremely close. There was a lot of private emotions going on too, which I don't want to talk about here and to top it up I signed up to 5k sunrise run that morning. 🤷‍♀️ Well that's classic me. Trying to do it all. So when I walked in the workshop and saw all those calming candles, Neal's yard oils, nice music and blankets I was totally sold. I switched off completely. I think I even had one of those amazing 30 second naps. When your mind and body switches off completely . That's totally normal right? 😂 I think it's a compliment. 
For the first time in that week I switched off and let myself to be and breath in stillness and I left totally chilled out. And what else could one need in this busy life?

Worrying more about effort than fitness level: If you're afraid of training because of your fitness level, there is no reason to, because at tekniQ we care more about your effort on the field than your fitness level. Over time your fitness level will improve, with the effort you but on the field and the habits you develop from regularly coming to each session. That is where you will see the results.

4. Feeling Empowered: Not only do we focus on your fitness but also your mindset. We help you feel empowered, encouraging you and strengthening your mindset so you believe in yourself and push yourself to try new things, like running that extra 100m, or adding an extra two kg to your training.

My wonderful client @kathyclark_wnbfpro asked me yesterday how I’m able to show up at the level I do for my clients, especially when it comes to long days with over 11 sessions like Monday.

Even though I may be on my 9th client for the day and I have been going full-out for many hours, I know that when my next client walks in, it is only the beginning for them. They’ve entrusted me with their health and fitness goals, and want help to fast track their results. What I do during my time with them will really make or break their achievement over the long term. They want 100% from me and I am here to deliver 110%.

There is NO session that I step into unmotivated. I know the transformational power of fitness and the miracles it can produce in your mindset and the rest of your life. I want to show each and every member at @snapthegap who places their trust in me, the best version of themselves that they can be. Working together with a straight 🔥 team @ryan_scottpt  @mariahjeanfit and @_tash_frances_fitness is nothing but a blessing 🙏🙏
