I haven't spoke about pyramid sets yet on here so thought I'd do a quick one just showing you what it is. Basically all it is, is starting off with lighter weight and higher reps and working your way up to higher weight with lower reps. For example:

Here I performed the lying leg curl and inter dispersed with a wall sit. ⠀
⠀
👉🏻Always hold the plate straight out in front of you. ⠀
👉🏻Make sure your knees are at right angles with the floor. ⠀
👉🏻Keep your back flat against the wall. ⠀
👉🏻Set a timer and really push yourself. Try 30 seconds, up it to 45, the up it to a minute. Really challenge yourself. ⠀

So started today with a minor set back as we didn’t hit a new low weigh in this morning, in fact I actually am half a pound heavier than yesterday. Yes I know you guys are going to be saying “What you worrying about that’s nothing” and you guys are right at this moment in time it is nothing to worry about because our bodies fluctuate so much and we could be doing the same thing every day and losing weight and than one day we gain weight it happens to everyone. If we lost weight every single day this summer cut would be easy and not a challenge. This leads onto my point of DO NOT PANIC ‼️..

I see so many people panic when they are on a good track of losing weight and then all of a sudden gain like 1lbs or 0.5lbs over night and then they under eat the next day to what they think they are doing in their mind making up for the gained weight. WRONG DO NOT DO THIS ❌..

Just because suddenly one day you gain a tad of weight this does not mean the next day you need to change your calories and macros to make up for it. Like I said our bodies fluctuate sometimes where we can be doing the same thing and losing weight at a good rate and all of sudden one day we either don’t lose a thing or we gain. These things happen to everyone not just you it’s just the way the body works. You might just be feeling bloated in the morning or you might just be storing a tad of water weight it is nothing to panic about. This only becomes a problem if after a few days you either haven’t lost weight or have gained some weight you might need to revaluate your caloric intake or increase cardio to create a bigger deficit..

So if it has been a couple of days and you have not lost weight or have only gained a tad weight don’t panic continue with your routine. If it has been longer than a few days and still not losing weight then it’s time to sit down and either take 100 calories away from your daily caloric intake or increase cardio whether that be adding an extra session a week or increase from 30 mins to 40 mins of cardio 💯..

🔥So I was speaking to my client yesterday, and I can't believe this stuff is coming out of a doctor's mouth.
-
Being a doctor doesn't automatically make you an expert in nutrition and training.
-
When it comes to meal frequency, it really doesn't matter for 99% of the people who are trying to accomplish general fitness goals.
-
You can have 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6... etc meals and still lose weight efficiently.
-
More meals doesn't mean your body will work harder to burn off more calories.
-
You don't add gas to your car every hour or every day. Why do it for your body?
-
I mean you can. Imagine going to the gas station everyday just to fuel up your car.
-
It is possible, but definitely not efficient for a lot of people.
-
So find what works for your schedule.
-
If that means skipping breakfast and only having two meals, that is fine.
-
If that means having six smaller meals because you're not a big fan of big meals, that is fine as well.
-
I personally like to have my three decent size meals and a shake with fruits to snack on.
-
Don't buy into this idea that more meals mean more fat being burn.
-
You want to burn more fat? Get yourself in a caloric deficit and move more.
-

🔥So I was speaking to my client yesterday, and I can't believe this stuff is coming out of a doctor's mouth.

Being a doctor doesn't automatically make you an expert in nutrition and training.

When it comes to meal frequency, it really doesn't matter for 99% of the people who are trying to accomplish general fitness goals.
-
You can have 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6... etc meals and still lose weight efficiently.
-
More meals doesn't mean your body will work harder to burn off more calories.
-
You don't add gas to your car every hour or every day. Why do it for your body?
-
I mean you can. Imagine going to the gas station everyday just to fuel up your car.
-
It is possible, but definitely not efficient for a lot of people.
-
So find what works for your schedule.
-
If that means skipping breakfast and only having two meals, that is fine.
-
If that means having six smaller meals because you're not a big fan of big meals, that is fine as well.
-
I personally like to have my three decent size meals and a shake with fruits to snack on.
-
Don't buy into this idea that more meals mean more fat being burn.
-
You want to burn more fat? Get yourself in a caloric deficit and move more.
-
