Do You Look At The Birds Too?
Ok, maybe it’s not the birds, but it’s usually something other than the exact muscles your working, right?
Your daily to-dos, you know the list that never ends. The cute boy, or sexy girl on the machines close by. Your wife, the kids, life, business — look I get it, and it never ends!
Until you realize what you’re training for. It’s the progress, we all want progress, that’s why we train. You train because it feels good to make progress. And because you’re body is something everyone sees, others see and comment on your progress, and that feels good!
We crave progress and when we are making it, we are overall happier. If you want to make more progress faster, use the tips from my videos, but more importantly, set an intention around your training, and FOCUS while you’re doing it.
You can’t knock out your to-do list while you’re at the gym. So it does no good to think about and disrupt what you can to do — build a better body!
This week, set the intention for every session. Today I am going to focus for 45 minutes and my goal is to build muscles, which means I’ve really got to tear them. I always want to burn fat, which means I need to turn the intensity up, put my head down, and focus!
