Want ideas for post workout fuel? Here’s what I did today and it was 👌🏼! A protein shake with @darkmountain_official grass fed whey protein mixed with almond milk, half a banana and some @pbfit.official. I also made some “breakfast tacos” with two corn tortillas, a very small amount of cheddar jack cheese, two slices of deli  turkey and two fried eggs. 🤤 Oh, and I added in some light squats today. 🙌🏼

Started out with a little bodyweight 🕺🏻and then moved on to some weights 💪🏼 I jumped around a lot yesterday so today’s workout is all grounded 😅

🔸booty band

(From @smartbody body toner in 15 lbs)
🔸Dumbbells

Circuit 1 // 3 Rounds
1. 15 banded sumo squat + V arms
2. 12 each side: back lunge + resisted rotation ▪️push against palm & fist to create resistance
3. 12 each side: hinged pull down + back corner tap
4. 12 each side: kickstand bent over row ▪️playing with different resistance here by using band & dumbbell; weight in front heel; you will feel it in the hamstrings and glutes

Circuit 2 // 3 Rounds
1. 15 banded & weighted bench thruster
2. 25 tippy toes abductors
3. 10 straight leg kickback + 20 pulses

Huge chest and tricep day today 🔥🔥🔥 Smashed every exercise with 8 push ups after every set (didn’t record every one as was knackered) and really felt this by the end. Give this a go to really stretch out your chest and get a massive pump on!!! 💪💪 CHEST
1️⃣=barbell bench press incline 4x8 (each set followed by 8 push ups)
2️⃣=machine bench press flat 4x10 (each set followed by 8 push ups)
3️⃣=incline fly 4x12 (each set followed by 8 push ups)

I hate the phrase "cheat day", but in saying that, a well-designed and well-executed "cheat meal" might very well save your sanity. It might even help you overcome a weight-loss plateau.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

The concept of a cheats is to eat pretty "healthily" for the better part of your week, stay active and reward yourself by eating what ever the hell you want every once in a while.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Make sure to remember this is not an excuse to binge and your day-to-day eating habits must be taken into consideration.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
There is some research to suggest that occasionally having a much larger meal than usual has beneficial effects on your hormones if you're trying to loose weight; and it's been suggested that this can increase your metabolism too - I'm unsure of the accuracy of this - your metabolism is a very complicated beast.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Some people believe they can follow a plan of eating whatever they want as long as they maintain a caloric deficit. They make a point of exercising frequently and using supplements to obtain necessary vitamins and macronutrients.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

*Progress picture* 10 weeks till my summer holiday and I am loving training right now! Last week I could not be arsed to go to the gym but instead challenged myself to come up with different sweaty full body sessions that I did in my living room at home...and that’s ok! .

Sometimes I go through phases where I really don’t want to go to the gym and exercise around people and much prefer to put my music on and jump around my living room 😂 the point is I enjoy exercise, I love how it makes me feel both physically and MENTALLY!! .

We should exercise for enjoyment not just for the calorie burn or aesthetic results as this just is not sustainable long term! I love exercise in so many different forms whether it’s riding my horse, running, doing a home hiit workout or lifting weights at the gym. And as long as you find what you enjoy it makes keeping fit and healthy a lifestyle rather than a quick fix! Today I did an upper body weights session at the gym, my muscles were quivering afterwards and I love that! Last week the thought of lifting weights just didn’t do it for me 😏 .

Above are 12 of my favorite foods when dieting for fat loss. They're filling, tasty, and nutrient dense. As long as calories are controlled, I can eat any of them in reasonable quantities.⠀⁣⠀

EVERY food in moderation can also be “the best” (unless you are allergic, or something) so don’t be a headline reader - always look for the depth hidden in the caption, and eat according to your preferences and goals.⠀⁣⠀

I started 2 1/2 months ago, back when I was eating around 2300-2500 calories.⁣

I am actively eating more to gain a little more muscle mass.⁣

I started 2 1/2 months ago, back when I was eating around 2300-2500 calories.⁣

I then increased to 2800, gained a few pounds and bumped up to 3000.⁣
