I’m always determined to make the current week better than the last. When I start to lose motivation (Which is pretty easy on a Monday when you think of the week ahead of you) I try to remind myself that everything I’m doing now will pay off in the future! You have to keep grinding to get to where you want to be 🤩✨⁣

My first day back in the gym after two weeks!! 🙏

Guys I've been going stir crazy without my training and feeling like a literal couch potato 😂 but I finally am back and really had an amazing workout! I definitely lost my stamina but everything felt great 💪 ☑️My workout routine today was:
▪️Pull ups (warmup)
▪️Leg raises (until I remember I'm not supposed to do them 😂)
▪️Lateral shoulder raises (3x10)
▪️Front shoulder raises (3x10)
▪️Dumbbell squats (6x10 different feet positions)
▪️Lat pulls (3x10)
▪️Cable RDL & Squats (3x10 each)
▪️ Dumbbell RDL (3X10)

All of these exercises felt good for me and  I did about 70% my normal weights for these just to get back into things. I'm hoping that things stay this good for a while! 🙏

Woke up this morning feeling refreshed and ready to get right back to it. So I threw on a bright shirt to boost my mood even more and took my butt to the gym. And guess what? My hard work was not thrown out the window from one bad week. I honestly felt stronger and more energized. Sometimes our bodies tell us to slow down and give it a rest, and we should listen to that. .

Don’t let one bad day, week, month, year whatever it may be throw you off and make you give up. Pick yourself back up and get back at it! 👊🏻💪🏻

I have loved cooking as of late. 
So I made these yummy creations on Sunday afternoon 🤗

If you wanted to increase the Protein in this recipe, you could substitute some of the Flour for Protein Powder.
.
Makes 8 Serves –
• 400g Pumpkin (Raw Weight)
• 100g Flour (I used Buckwheat Flour)
• 5g Cocoa Powder
• 40g Avalanche Sugar Free Chocolate Powder
• 25g Light Peanut Butter
• 30g Egg Whites
• 80g Blueberries (You could substitute for Chocolate Chips. Macros would change of course)
• 1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
.
- Boil Pumpkin and then Mash it until puree.
- Mix all the Dry Ingredients together.
- Then add all the wet ingredients, mix together.
- Bake in the oven at 180 Degress for 20 – 25 Minutes.
Enjoy!

• 3.2g Protein
• 16.1g Carbs
• 1.9g Fat
• 1.6g Fibre

So, following this principle, by changing and increasing stability across the joint, you invariably increase the strength.

Now, when you start a little clang and bang and begin to up the weight, you’ll actually build genuine strength on a stable platform as opposed to building it on dysfunction.

If you ONLY knew how uncomfortable I was in my skin when I was 50 pounds overweight 😭. I didn’t even know how I let myself get so far off coarse. ⠀.⠀
Maybe you know the feeling? When the weight creeps on without you really realizing and then all of a sudden your clothes don’t fit, so you buy bigger clothes and bigger clothes and eventually you just start to feel hopeless. You try a diet only to gain back more! Ugh. It is So frustrating! Trust me; I’ve been there and tried it all. ⠀

And here’s the crazy part...⠀⠀

I was ALWAYS such a Negative Nancy!! I always used to think weight loss testimonials were so lame 😆 That it would NEVER work for me..⠀
⠀
I told myself, I don’t need help! I know what to do! I’m self motivated. Well, clearly I wasn’t because when life got in the way I would quit. I needed that extra layer of accountability and the community to encourage me and celebrate my wins! Plus I would do the diet thing then quit. Diets don’t work! ⠀
⠀⠀
But once I swallowed my pride, decided I would ACTUALLY do something, and put my money where my mouth was, things got real REAL fast! Once I had put skin in the game $ and had the tools and the support I realized this was a game changer!!!⠀
⠀⠀⠀

If you ONLY knew how uncomfortable I was in my skin when I was 50 pounds overweight 😭. I didn’t even know how I let myself get so far off coarse. ⠀.⠀
Maybe you know the feeling? When the weight creeps on without you really realizing and then all of a sudden your clothes don’t fit, so you buy bigger clothes and bigger clothes and eventually you just start to feel hopeless. You try a diet only to gain back more! Ugh. It is So frustrating! Trust me; I’ve been there and tried it all. ⠀

And here’s the crazy part...⠀⠀

I was ALWAYS such a Negative Nancy!! I always used to think weight loss testimonials were so lame 😆 That it would NEVER work for me..⠀

I told myself, I don’t need help! I know what to do! I’m self motivated. Well, clearly I wasn’t because when life got in the way I would quit. I needed that extra layer of accountability and the community to encourage me and celebrate my wins! Plus I would do the diet thing then quit. Diets don’t work! ⠀

But once I swallowed my pride, decided I would ACTUALLY do something, and put my money where my mouth was, things got real REAL fast! Once I had put skin in the game $ and had the tools and the support I realized this was a game changer!!!⠀

Having a healthy LIFESTYLE approach with working out and eating is something I try to practice everyday. From competing at bikini shows to bulking I’ve felt it all and this summer I wanted to try to be “normal” to put into practice all that I’ve learned , knowing how much is too much and eating if I felt hungry because I’ve been shuffling so much or lifting a lot . .
.
I guess at the end of it all it’s alllll about knowing how to LISTEN to your body, being in-tune with it. Connecting all that you do with how it makes you feel. I challenge you today to stop and LISTEN the next time your lifting or eating . How does that certain meal make u feel after you eat it? How does that certain exercise make your feel, does a certain muscle group grow fast than another ? I’ve noticed that my upper body grows wayyyyy faster than my lower (unfortunately 🙄lol) so I adjusted my workout splits at the gym!👊🏽💪🏽

Once you stop and listen , APPLY. Eat and do little things to help you become the best version of your self that you can be .... not only on the outside .... but on the INSIDE too 😌💪🏽👊🏽💥 take the stairs instead of the elevator .... know the differences between being lazy and being disciplined!!!!! Soooo Happy Monday everyone !!! SO excited to hit the gym and maybe even swim and Sauna !? The gym will always be my “me time” 😌 that being saying RIP to my legs 💪🏽😈🍑

If you want to be fit & healthy, you need to exercise and eat more nutritious foods .
That means you give up an hour of Netflix and some candy with your popcorn at the movies.

If you want to build some serious muscle and make great changes to your physique then you need to be prepared to eat! You need to eat to grow! Yes, this means extra body fat too...

It’s okay. You are sacrificing being super lean for a short amount of time (humans live a long time) to gain so much more.
