Una icreíble historia, fresca, ambiciosa, cómica, romantica y emocional. De esas película que nos llevan hacia la aventura del descubrimiento, hacia el porqué de las cosas entregando el mensaje perfecto. Las actuaciones son increíbles cumplen perfectamente , la música, dirección, ambientación, son un gran logro. La película impacta desde el inicio no solo con su trama, sino con cada diálogo o acontecimiento que llega a emocionar, hacer reír y criticar el mundo actual. Lo que más destacó es la sencillez de su historia y realización. Grinch je nenapraviteľný hundroš, ktorý neznáša všetko a všetkých a zo všetkého najviac Vianoce. Tie by najradšej zrušil. A vo filme, ktorý natočili Zlodusi, čo majú na svedomí Mimoňov, sa o to dokonca aj pokúsi. Na svete sa prekvapivo nájde veľa ľudí, ktorí Vianoce nemajú radi. Medzi nimi všetkými vyniká Grinch, večne namosúrený zelený chlpáč, ktorému celkom vyhovuje samotárstvo v jaskyni, kde sa necháva obskakovať svojím psom Maxom. Do civilizácie vychádza len v tých najnutnejších prípadoch, napríklad keď jeho chladnička a komora začnú zívať prázdnotou. Háčik je v tom, že v mestečku, kam za nákupmi vyráža, žijú samí nechutne pozitívni obyvatelia, ktorí sú tím nadšenejší a dychtivejší, čím viac sa blíži Štedrý deň. Domy sú obsypané svetlami, koledy znejú na každom kroku, deti si pripravujú zoznamy darčekov, vo vzduchu voňajú koláče a to všetko pôsobí na Grincha ako červené súkno na býka. A keď sa potom ešte dopočuje, že tohtoročné vianočné sviatky by mali byť trikrát opulentnejšie ako po iné roky, rozhodne sa to celé zaraziť a vianočnú atmosféru ľuďom ukradnúť doslova z pred nosa. Stačí nájsť sane, vhodné stádo sobov, nasadiť si falošné fúzy a predbehnúť toho deduška, ktorý nosí darčeky komínom. Ale aj ten, kto počíta doslova so všetkým, sa môže raz prepočítať. V mestečku žije dievčatko Cindy, ktorá sa rozhodla nastražiť na Santu pascu, len aby ho mohla poprosiť o nejaký výnimočný darček pre upracovanú mamičku.
