After almost 2 months off instagram, I think it's safe to say I've gained a new perspective on using this platform:
1) Often times, Id let this platform sit too high on my priority list. Since the vast majority of people don't use social media for business, it should just be treated as a means of self expression and recreation.
2) Training and gym can be so psychologically burdening when we keep comparing our bodies and progress to that of others. In my time off from social media, I found it easier to be happy with my own body. You'll find the people u think are the most confident, can be the most self destructive in the way they nit pick how they look.
3) being anonymous and not sharing ur life with others except those who experience it first hand can feel bloody liberating
4) just because certain people follow u on social media, doesn't mean they know u. In the same way, just because u follow someone on social media, doesn't mean u know them. We select what we share. We only show our brightest moments. A highlight reel.
Honestly these are just a few lessons andd realisations. I could go on.... #gym #gainz #fitness #muscle #workout #girlswholift #booty #cardio #activewear #transformation #weightloss #strong #quotes #fitspo #motivation
