*Slaps roof of compressed spine.* Seriously though, like wtf? Take 5 minutes, if that. Don’t do 2 warm up sets when you hardly have the mobility. It helps, a lot more. Same with any other sport. If ur squatting, check out Jeff Cavaliers video. He does a good job explaining it. I’ve had a few warmups before and his is honestly my favorite. It works for squatting, and kind of deadlifting if you mix it in with some other stuff. When doing a bicep curl, there’s a reason you’re doing it with such strict form. OTHER MUSCLES LIKE TO HELP OUT, AND YOU DON’T WANT THAT! If you lean back, the back and core start taking over! If you raise your elbows enough, the front delt kicks in. If you actually want to isolate, you gotta don’t right and make sure your form is strict, and so so with a weight which allows you to do so! Keep the core tight, keep the elbows to your sides as much as possible, and DO NOT lean back if you want the full effect.
