Helllooo sunshines 🤩
Its been a minute since I went to the gym (2 days lol) I havent had my car & won’t until Tuesday 
But, it happens, sometimes you just can’t make it to the gym
And guess what, thats okay!!
Anyways I made it here tonight & killed upper body at the nicest planet fitness I think I’ve ever been to (& I have been to many lately) 
I didnt take any vids today but heres some selfies per usual

I just wanna inspire other women to get their ass in the gym and work for what they want 😆💪

I’m going to show you guys what a 5 year difference makes. I was soooo skinny before. I weighed 115 lbs. and I could barely squat 135. I didn’t have a booty. I didn’t have the muscles I had now, nor the fat. Lol 
But sometimes we go off track, and let me tell you. Within these 5 years I gained about 30 lbs. and I’m not afraid to say I used to weigh 140 to 145 lbs. I was fat for my height. Even though I didn’t look like it. I felt it. And now I’m 129. And I’m happy and proud of the weight I lost and gained. And the strength my body can endure. I’m proud of my muscles and everything that came with my gym experience over the years. 
I will continue to get better and better. And my body and mindset will follow through

Soooo eventually I established some workouts using cables that are some of my go-to’s whether I am incorporating one or two into a leg day or doing an entirely cable focused leg day like this!🤙🏼

These exercises were thrown in after I did all of my compound movements (squats, deadlifts, etc) as well as accessory work (split squats, kickbacks, lunges, & more). Mainly because I wanted to get a good burn 🔥
3-4 sets 12-16 reps for each. Make sure to focus on mind muscle connection especially for the last one!
P.s. I’m wearing the new @gymshark flawless leggings which are releasing in tons of new colors today at 12pm PST 🎉 (along with new colors of high waisted flex ✊🏼) Link is in my bio as well as stories, & if you use it thank you so so much 💛

My new favorite time to work out is the afternoon. I get a bunch of stuff done at home while I sip on a coffee, and then my gym is almost empty so I can use a bunch of space and equipment and not have to wait for machines either. -
Hip thrusted 280lbs for 5x10 today. Definitely proud of myself for that one. I have to thank @bretcontreras1 for all of the educational content he puts out. I’ve learned a lot in the last six months or so and have put it into practice.

Story time: Guys I ate like 3 thousand calories last night on my cheat day.🥵🍔😂🍰🍿🍫🍟 I went in but ONLY Bc this whole week I’ve fought my cravings SO HARD- like this is the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life. 🥵😂 The hard part about the gym is not the actual lifts but the nutrition aspect of it. And I think that’s what most people struggle with and why they give up. We live such fast paced lives that not having time to prepare wholesome meals daily is really the issue. We’re not lying about it 😖 And the food industry has taken advantage of this, serving us low quality food for an unbeatable price. FIGHT BACK: Don’t make eating fast food a habit.

HIITING THIS SATURDAY W A SWEATY-ASS CORE FOCUSED HIIT SESSION: two full rounds of 45s on, 20s off, 1min 30s rest b/w rounds🌟 ball plank to crunch 🌟 down dog single leg crunch (change legs halfway through) 🌟 1/2 burpee to drop downs 🌟 alternating jump lunges with slight pause in middle 🌟 med ball toss w alternating flutter kicks 🌟 FINALLY HOME SPENDING TIME W MY MOMMA AND RELAXING and it feels soooo good. I’ve been exhausted from this semester and I already feel better and so loved. I got in a quick/effective workout this morning and it felt amazing to get a sweat in after yesterday. Just here to say IT GETS BETTER! Life is just a combination of ups and downs and staying strong/surrounding yourself with people who want to see you succeed. Having my mom/boyfriend/my cutie besties (@sami, @maddie) and my doggo have been my saving grace this semester and I feel more motivated than ever to finish strong! Weekend is almost here & hopefully I can go to the gym 😁😁😁.... I am beyond over working out at home. I know it's a workout , but mama LOVES lifting heavy ass shit ... & since the housing gym here is taking its sweet time to open again. also they might take another month 🙄 I'm just done waiting lol I'm looking into squat racks,barbells, all them good stuff. If anyone know of a good set let me know 😁😁😁.
