Later this afternoon I had an urge for some turkey tacos. I was planning on having salmon but my craving just took over me 🤪 so we had tacos tonight 🌮🌮🌮 could not fit my little sauce in the photo however recipe is below.
- 1x pack of crunchy taco shells - 400g turkey mince (on medium heat mix with 1x garlic and paprika powder)
- 1x gem lettuce - 3x tomatos
-1x shallot
- 1x tin sweetcorn - 1x large pepper •For my sauce I put following ingredients in food processors:
1/2 avocado
3tbsp water
1tbsp lemon juice
1/2 cup natural kefir yoghurt @yeovalley 
1 garlic clove 
1/4 tsp sea salt flakes @maldonsalt 
For some extra flavour add coriander 😋#tacos #healthytacos

Meal prepping........ I’m loving this way of thinking about food, not only is it teaching me how I should be eating, but because of the way it’s laid out the whole family can enjoy it too.

So here I am making homemade granola with my little chef, although she’s not too keen on actually eating it, she loved getting involved in the process of making it and that’s half the battle.

I feel like I haven’t made oatmeal in a while. Today I made banana oatmeal: 1/2 cup rolled oats •1cup almond milk •1 banana(half chopped and add to milk and the other half sliced for garnish) •1tsp each: chia seeds, hemp seeds and flax seed. Place all ingredients in a small pot and Cooke over medium high for 5-8min. For strawberry chia jam: 1cup chopped strawberries •1tbsp maple syrup(more or less depending on your sweetness desire) •1tbsp chia seeds. Cook the strawberries water and maple syrup for about 5min. on medium high then add chia seeds and cook for another 3min. Brunch is basically my favorite thing and this meal did not disappoint. Pan fried veggies (sweet potatoes, garlic, onion, Brussels sprouts and broccoli) with a pan fried in coconut oil egg and cashews. Drizzled in siracha aioli. My favorite thing about this meal is that I did not have to throw away any plastic bags! The veggies all came from a farmers market where I brought my reusable canvas bags and the eggs came in a compostable package rather than the styrofoam. I will still have to recycle the siracha bottle once it is empty but no plastic bags is a great step. I have heard many people say “it’s just one bag” but if that mentality is said millions of times by millions of people that becomes the billions of plastic bags we have to deal with. Every plastic bag you opt out of taking could spark a revolution resulting in billions of bags not used! •

Carbs are a fast energy source and they get broken down in the stomach first, providing you with the tools to recover and not crash. When you couple it with protein, you are supporting the protein’s job to recover your muscles.

( ~167 cal | PS: 9.6 g | Fibra: 4 g)

Un desayuno más sustanciosos con unos chilaquiles exprés y light 👏🏻.
Solo necesitamos estos 4 ingredientes:
.
- 1 pza huevo.
- 2 tostadas horneadas.
- 1/8 taza de salsa roja.
- 1 pza calabacita alargada.
- 1/2 pza de jitomate 🍅. No usé nada de aceite. El huevo lo revolví previamente con un toquecito de sal y después lo puse en el sartén previamente calentado. Las calabacitas las puse a asar con un poco de sal y pimienta. Para los chilaquiles, cortamos en trozos las tostadas, las colocamos en el sartén y agregamos la salsa solo por unos segunditos. (Esto depende de que tan dorados o aguaditos los quieres). Montamos y listo! 🤗

Made this deliciousness, because why the heck not?  It's a freaking BEAUTIFUL sunny day, I've been productive as hell, and I deserve it! 🌞🌿✨ Greek yogurt topped with cinnamon-sprinkled banana, a healthy heap of chia seeds, @wildwayoflife grain-free banana nut granola, a bit of grain granola too, and finally a drizzle of honey. 🍌🍯 So.  Freaking.  Good.  What makes it 100 times better is enjoying it with sun kisses, bird songs, and light breezes.  Aahhh...Bliss. 🌬️☀️🐦 DID YOU KNOW?  In addition to all its health benefits, the chia seed was sacred to the ancient Aztecs & Mayans, and used as a sacrifice in religious ceremonies.  The ancient civilizations believed that the chia seed provided supernatural powers. Chickpea Omelette!🍳
No eggs necessary for this vegan omelette, full of flavor and plant protein!🙌
You can add in whatever veggies you like, I used steamed mixed veggies🌽🥕but I highly recommend topping it with avocado and ketchup!☀️🙌
The base is made of...
1/2 cup chickpea flour
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon turmeric
1/4 teaspoon garlic
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons nutritional yeast
(Optional 1/2 teaspoon curry powder for some extra spice!)
3/4 cup water
✨mix this all together and let it sit while a pan heats to medium temperature (if it isn’t a nonstick pan, add in a drop of coconut oil), then cook it like a big pancake, adding the veggies to one side right after pouring it into the pan, flip once it starts to bubble and is golden (around five minutes) and repeat on the other side! Then it’s ready to fold and serve😋

I love that these pancakes are naturally gluten-free and will keep you full, thanks to their extra fiber, protein, and healthy fats. Almond flour is naturally low-carb, so you can make these #ketopancakes by skipping the maple syrup as mentioned in the recipe!

However, they are downright addictive when you make them as written and will impress any brunch guests you might have over. 😉 I’m still working on an egg-free option, if you saw me testing that in my IG stories yesterday, so stay tuned. Right now I can tell you that banana and arrowroot both DO NOT work well as a substitute for the egg. 😭 (I’m guessing a flax egg won’t be a perfect sub either, just FYI) I do link to several of my favorite VEGAN pancake recipes in this post if you need some good GF ideas, though!

Here’s the #dEATS on this double chocolate protein pancake! 👉🏼 1/2 cup @kodiakcakes dark chocolate mix, 2 scoops @nuzest_usa rich chocolate protein, about 3/4 cup @califiafarms unsweetened vanilla almond milk, and a handful of chocolate chips! I cooked this in a little @chosenfoods avocado oil on low heat! Topped mine with @siggisdairy, fresh berries, and some chia seeds! This reminded me of a chocolate lava cake! Soo good and definitely hit the spot! Super excited to spend this weekend with one of my best friends! We’re making homemade pizza’s tonight 🍕😉 Hope everyone has a great weekend!!!

Boost your morning with this power bowl full of protein, fiber and antioxidants. Simply put some buckwheat to sprout before going to bed for a healthy breakfast ready in only a few minutes.

INGREDIENTS
	1/2 cup sprouted organic buckwheat ;  1 organic banana;
	1/4 cup oat or almond milk;  vanilla ;  cinnamon;  grec yogourt ;  favorite toppings 
METHOD 📍Start with 1/2 cup of dry buckwheat groats . Soak in two cups of cold water for an hour.
📍Drain in a fine mesh sieve and rinse.
Sit the sieve on a big bowl, cover with a clean towel and set aside.
📍The next morning, rinse them thoroughly. Put the sprouted buckwheat in the blender. Add bananas, oat milk , vanilla, cinnamon and blend well. 📍Divide into two bowls and top with your favourite toppings.

Ingredientes para 4 personas:
·  250 grs. de arroz.
·  500 grs. de calamares pequeños (o de sepionet) a taquitos.
·  10 cucharadas de aceite de oliva virgen.
·  2 dientes de ajo a trocitos.
·  2 tomates maduros rallados.
·  1 cucharada de pimentón dulce.
·  Azafrán de flor, colorante, sal.
Para el caldo:
·  750 grs. de morralla mezclada de pescadito y marisco para caldo.
·  1 cebolla en trozos grandes.
·  ½ hoja de laurel.
·  Unas ramitas de perejil.
·  8 cucharadas de aceite de oliva virgen valenciano.
·  2,5 litros de agua.
Elaboración:
EL CALDO: En un caldero con el aceite caliente y un poco de sal freír todo junto, poner el agua y cocer 30 minutos, luego colarlo.
EL ARROZ: en el caldero con el aceite caliente y un poco de sal, freír el calamar a fuego suave, luego el ajo darle unas vueltas, poner el pimentón y rápido el tomate freír bien el tomate, poner el caldo (2,5 partes de caldo por 1 de arroz) dar el punto de azafrán, color, sal, poner el arroz y cocer a fuego mediano unos 18 minutos.

Nunca pensé decir esto pero últimamente he comido demasiados waffles... hoy volví a desayunar avena y recordé que rica 🤤 es y fácil de hacer! Comparto este #oatmealbowl para reiterar mi ❤ por la avena ! 👆avena de chocolate 🍫Cocinada en agua, yo dejo la avena remojando en agua toda la noche, y por la mañana la cocino en la misma 💦 y cuando obtengo la consistencia que me gusta ya está lista! El cacao en polvo se agrega al final 😊 y pueden echarle in chorrito de bebida dealmendras o soja y jarabe de maple para endulzar! Serví con mantequilla de 🥜🍌y frambuesas!

We will fully know in about a month when he gets retested, but until then he’s on four health supplements daily. So happy we switched to a homeopathic vet, it’s crazy to think I went to anybody else beforehand. He’s already night & day difference so fingers crossed.🤞🏼

It's the middle of the week...how is it going for you? It's oat bran kinda morning for me with antioxidant yummy fruits. .

Since I have discovered oat bran few years ago, I hardly eat the common rolled oats. It's also because oat bran is very simple to make and my lil man likes it too. Oat bran is the outer shell of the seeds while rolled oats is the entire squashed groat. Nutrition wise, a cup of oat bran has lesser calories, more protein and fiber compared to a half cup of rolled oats. A cup is way too much. What you see in this bowl is about 1/4 cup of oat bran. 
Oat bran itself is not as tasty as rolled oats...which is why I flavour my bowl with cocoa, fruits and nuts. 😊

Pour vos bouches gourmandes, voici une recette de porridge: rapide🏃🏽‍♀️,healthy🍎mais surtout à tomber par terre !🤤

Les ingrédients:
-1 cup(90g) de flocon d’avoine -480ml de lait🥛(lait d’amande pour moi)
-1 banane écrasée🍌
-1CàS de miel ou sirop d’érable ou d’agave🍯
-1 pincé de sel🧂
-de la cannelle

Voilà c’est tout ! ;) Vous pouvez ajouter le topping qui vous fait plaisir selon vos goût et envies. ~
Pour ma part: des fruits,noix,beurre d’oléagineux et chocolat🤤
