Ok, so I didn’t 100% unplug and detox from social media and my 📱 phone during my trip to FL these last 5 days. It’s safe to say I did about an 80% detox in terms of screen time, messenger, engagement, etc! And I SO needed that. I think we can all use an escape every once in a while...

For me, this was essential! I’ve had SOOO much on my plate recently, I felt myself sliding back into some of my familiar and scary feelings of overwhelm & anxiety!

Considering the nature of my career, running my health coaching biz & my network marketing biz... I spend tons of time on social media, my phone answering client messages, and my laptop... I LOVE every second of what I do!

I feel so energized, recharged and clear!

Walnuts have warm and sweet properties, in which can tonify kidney yang and nourish lungs. It is said in Materia Medica that "walnuts can benefit qi and nourish blood, moisten dryness and resolve phlegm, tonify Ming Men (kidney yang), clear sanjiao, warm lung and moisten the intestines to treat cough and wheezing due to deficiency and affected by cold, heaviness and pain in the waist". It is used for people with kidney yang deficiency with presentations such as cold sensation in the lower back with pain and relieved with warmth, frequent urination, tinnitus and sexual dysfunction. 
As with most nuts and its healthy fat content, Chinese Medicine believes that fats act as a lubricant and it has the function of "moistening the intestines". This means that it can help to soften hard stools for people suffering from constipation. Walnuts are also known to promote healthy gut by increasing good microbiomes that produce a type of fat called butyrate which can nourish the gut. These gut microbiomes can also help the body to reduce the bad LDL cholesterol.

Walnuts are rich in omega-3, anti-inflammatory phytochemicals and antioxidents, all benefits brain function and maintaining brain health. Chinese Medicine believes that "the kidney connects to the brain; when the kidney essence is filled, the sea of marrow (brain) is filled". By tonifying the kidney will benefit the brain to improve cognition and boost memory.

So after 8 days in Tenerife and going out to eat 4 times with family and friends the result are in ! I definitely didn’t expect this. I went into group with the plan that I would get weighed and then leave - as I just wanted it to all be over because I was 100% expecting a gain. I kept trying to overestimate how much I had put on so that when it turned out to be less I would feel relieved (I don’t know why I do this - it’s just my way of coping with a gain🤣) I was pleasantly surprised when I was told I had lost 1lb - especially as I didn’t eat as well as I had planned to. Thankfully I didn’t “go all out” and I still stayed within plan (most days🙃) even chucking in a few SP days and lots of swimming / body magic 🏊‍♀️✨

Tbt to my favorite breakfast ! 🍓Chia Pudding 🍓 🤤 it’s such a healthy breakfast and so easy to prepare! .(From bottom to top) For the first layer I blended strawberries with coconut yogurt! 🥣The second layer is made of almond milk with chia seeds! 🍓The third layer, I blended almond milk with strawberries and then added chia seeds! On the top I just put some oat flakes !

Found an Ohrid Trout here in Padova, or in Italian called Trota Iridea, as it comes and it's endemic specie of the Ohrid lake in Macedonia, the lake where I'm born at, in my town Struga. It was my first whole fish cleaning, wasn't that easy but worth it. Baked it with spices, herbs and garlic and served it with cooked spinach and mashed carrots.

Menu asiat' nouilles samoussas et salade

Aujourd'hui je vous donne ma recette de nouilles chinoises sautées au poulet. 
La salade c'est simplement du choux blanc mariné au vinaigre de riz toute une nuit avec quelques poivrons oignons etc. 
Les ingrédients: 
200 grammes de nouilles chinoises
500 grammes de blanc de poulet
1 branche de céleri
1 carotte
1 poivron rouge
1 poivron vert
1 gousse d’ail
1cac de gingembre moulu ou 15g de frais
2-3 oignons
3 branches de chou chinois
Quelques pousses de haricots ou de soja

Ou un mélange de légumes Wok surgelé ou au rayon frais. 
1 cuillère à soupe de sauce soja (sucree ou salée)
1 cuillère à soupe de sauce poisson ou nuoc-mam
1 cac de vianigre de riz
1cas de sauce terriyaki (sauce pr marinade poissons ou viande)
1cac de maïzena
2 cuillères à soupe d’huile de friture
Des graines de sésame
De la ciboulette et coriandre fraîche
Du poivre, du sel, paprika normal ou fort

Recette: 
1 - Couper la viande de poulet en dés.Rajouter de l’ail râpé et du poivre. Réserver au frais.

2 - Tailler les carottes en julienne. Éplucher le gingembre et râpez-le. Laver les branches de chou chinois. Couper les poivrons en fines tranches. Hacher les oignons. 
3- Mélanger dans un bol, la sauce soja, la sauce poisson, la sauce terriyaki, le vinaigre de riz et la maïzena.

4- portez à ébullition de l'eau chaude. Hors du feu y plongez les nouilles. Laissez reposer 2-3min.

5- Faire chauffer de l’huile de friture dans un Wok. Verser les oignons et les faire blanchir quelques secondes.
Rajouter ensuite le gingembre râpé et le paprika. 
Rajouter les légumes (poivron rouge et vert, carotte, céleri, chou chinois, pousse de soja ...).Remuer sur feu vif pendant environ 3 minutes.

6- Ajouter ensuite le poulet et remuer sans cesse pendant environ 3 minutes.
Verser la sauce. 
7- Incorporer les nouilles et mélanger délicatement.
Saler et poivrer à votre convenance.
Continuer la cuisson pendant 2 minutes environ.

Conseil : En fin de cuisson, parsemer les graines de sésame, la ciboulette et la coriandre fraîche.
