I used to drink my feelings away. In fact I would drink myself into oblivion because I either didn’t want to feel anything OR I wanted to feel more. Being sober, forces me to face-my-shit! I do not get the luxury of stuffing my emotions with substances anymore. It hurts sometimes, very badly, but what I do know is that the hurt never lasts as long as I think it’s going to, and that healing is possible no matter what the situation is. ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀

These snow days have not been kind to me. Not being to leave the house has gotten me very anxious. I’m not gonna lie, I might’ve had a cheat meal.... or five and I haven’t worked out either. I feel like I’ve gained back all the weight I’ve lost and then some. So today I got back on track and got in a good workout tonight.  Thank you @shaunt for the sweat session. TRUTH BEHIND DETOX DIET

Creators of detox diets base their ideas on an incorrect theory that our bodies are being constantly bombarded by toxins such as cigarette smoke, pollution and pesticides, which it cannot handle.
