I've been adding mint 🍭extract to my daily shakes a few times recently. I know mint isn't a flavor everyone loves, but I looked up some recipes and actually really enjoy them.
Why did I ever decide to add mint and even look up these recipes in the first place?
Well, we've all heard of this thing called a Shamrock☘ Shake right?
They've been out for a few weeks as they always come out for St. Patrick's Day and I am obsessed😍 with them. I make it a point to get at least one each year. I know they aren't great, but it's 1 or 2 a year.
Well, as most of you know, I've been working on getting healthier, so I wanted to avoid the shake 🥤 this year, which led to the mint experiments. When I tired on my own, I dumped way too much mint extract in and it was a fail. 😝
After that, I was like ok, definitely will just have to get the McDonalds version this isn't working, but I decided to try again instead. This time I looked up some recipes 💻for it and it was so much better! Like delicious!💚 I played with one a little as I still thought the recipe called for too much extract after trying it the first time, but I decreased it this last time and I loved❤ it!
Seriously there are so many ways to make these freaking shakes and play with them to hit whatever craving you have. I am obsessed! 🤩
Oh and the best part, They are so healthy for you.👍 They aren't like a 100 calorie pack where it's healthier, but still not great. 🤨 No these shakes are packed full of nutrients, like even if I didn't like the taste, I'd choke it down for the nutrients, but I don't have to because they taste freaking awesome!!!💚❤ #nutritiousshake #deliciousshakes
