Out with the old and in with the new 🤗
One of my only regrets, about leaving the UK and moving to Bahrain, is having to leave behind my loyal and totally awesome 2009 Jaguar XFR.
This was the first Jaguar XF to have the 'purpose built' Welsh 5 Litre supercharged V8 and along with an advanced computer controlled suspension system, not only one of the most powerful and exciting cars I have ever driven but THE quietest and THE most comfortable, not usually mentioned in the same sentence as supercar performance..
SO sad to leave it behind but one of the necessary sacrifices, when you move your life 3000 miles across the world 😅
However, after a great deal of searching, my good friend Muhab from @bavariamotors_bahrain has finally supplied me with a more than suitable alternative, for my greatly missed Jag 😎
Enter my new 2012 Dodge Challenger RT, in a mildly metallic and rapidly growing on me, racing red, with the absolutely essential 5.7 Litre HEMI V8 at the business end.
I knew this would be a powerful car, that HEMI V8 is the go-to engine for raw performance and I absolutely love that this 2012 model has almost all of the original classic American 'muscle car' exterior styling, seamlessly combined with up-to-date modern electronics and technology but I was very pleasantly surprised to discover such a quiet and comfortable driving experience, when you don't press the loud pedal too much 😉
I'm not going to suggest that this outrageously powered American classic is as quiet and comfortable as my computer controlled 21st Century executive English limousine but it is as good as and praise doesn't get any higher than that 😍
Not sure about the final picture 🤔
Can't decide if updating your Apple Watch face to a picture of your car is cool 😎 or strange 😳
(comments on this would, tentatively, be appreciated)
