🚫Don’t rely on motivation to get you the results you want🚫
I know, I know...most of you are probably scratching your heads and wondering why I would say that...well the truth is, we all know consistency is the key to getting the results we want, but what’s the key to consistency? We all assume that the answer is motivation and while I would love to give you tips on how to “stay motivated”, that won’t help/solve your problem.
🤷🏻♀️Why? Because as I shared a few posts ago, it’s IMPOSSIBLE to stay motivated all the time. So instead of how to stay motivated, here’s 5 tips on how to stay CONSISTENT👇🏻
1️⃣ FOCUS ON YOUR GOAL
Ask yourself why you’re doing this and what it would feel like to accomplish your goal. Having an emotionally charged connection to why you are doing this is the very backbone of your consistency.
2️⃣ GET INTO A ROUTINE
How many times have you not gone to the gym because you “had no idea what you were gonna do”. Finding a workout routine that you are going to stick to is another key to keeping you on track.
How many times have to said “I just haven’t had the time”? Start scheduling your workouts into your daily routines. MAKE THE TIME. It’s a super simple tip, but one that stops so many of us from reaching our goals
Surround yourself with people who will hold you accountable and be in your corner to push you/ cheer you on!
5️⃣SWITCH UP YOUR MINDSET
Instead of viewing your workouts as something you “have to do”, start looking at them as self-care practice for YOU!
