These resistance loops... 🙄 I’m only on day 22/80 and instead of doubling my blue-green loops (heavy-medium) I had to double my heavy-heavy loops because they wouldn’t stop rolling! Rolling is a sign they aren’t resisting enough. What’s the big deal about exercising? 💪🏻🏃🏻‍♀️🏋🏻‍♀️ Honestly, when I started working out it was because I didn’t like the way my body looked. Having a baby changed my stomach. I didn’t like it and I was tired of feeling uncomfortable in my clothes. Nothing fit like I wanted it too and getting dressed to go somewhere turned into a full time job! 👚👗👖 I started working out because I wanted abs! I wanted that flat, toned tummy! I’m still not there after working out for a couple years. Turns out, that’s the HARDEST part of your body to get flat and toned. (Abs are made in the kitchen.) 🍎🥒🥬 Along the way I started to realize that there were a lot of unhealthy people around me. I started realizing that these people were close to my age and without setting a routine working out and taking care of my body I could end up being not so healthy at my age too. Don’t get me wrong, I know working out isn’t going to keep me from getting a cancer diagnosis but it’s going to keep me from getting so many other chronic illnesses. It’s also going to keep me healthy and alive to see my daughter grow up, it’s going to keep me active so that I can play in the yard with her, tumble around with her, and run around the house. 🏃🏻‍♀️💅🏻🤸🏼‍♂️ Exercising and eating right keeps my mind right, it gives me more energy, it gives me goals, and keeps me clear headed! 🏅🏆🎖 If any of this speaks to you, message me or drop a 💁🏻‍♀️ below! This smile shined on one of the darkest days of my life so far. The one where I got told my 38 week old baby no longer had a heartbeat. I smiled as soon as I saw my angel. My mom was worried she would never see that smile again. That is when I started to think my body had failed me. 3 kids later and I realized the STRENGTH  my  body had and it had NOT failed me instead I have created life 4 times. .
I lived in a way that I didn't want to love my body anymore and let it just go.  I just had my final baby and felt the STRENGTH my body had through some tough contractions and REALIZED I could do anything. My mind had woken up from its deep sleep.

I totally understand if you don't think you have the time, the will, or the reason why. But spending a half an hour on your body a day where you are in control again you will find yourself again!

When I want ice cream, I get some dang ice cream! 🍦🌺 As Ari would say, “I want it, I got it” 🎶 .
I also want to create a healthy lifestyle for myself, so guess what I’m gonna do? Just that!

Today was day numero uno in my new fitness program. 25 minutes of activity with 90 seconds of stretching, 5 days a week for 10 weeks💪🏻🔥. I love that it comes with a meal plan so all my recipes are laid out for me and I don’t have to stress about what I should make for dinner. (Lmao, jk, my babe does most of the cooking at home😘).

While ice cream isn’t on the menu, I’m not gonna stress about having one scoop here and there. Honestly, I really wanted two scoops but I was still full from my dinner. The key is to indulge when your body has been craving something; no more & no less. This helps me stay motivated and on track to achieving my true potential. I can only be badass if I’m healthy and capable of doing what I set my mind to. ✨💛

I got the hibiscus lemonade and shout out to mah frens for letting me taste their cones. I’ll be back to try the Thai tea flavor 😍.

Hey everyone! Happy Monday... Or what's left of it, lol. Today I wanted to share something about me. I work out fairly regularly. I'm not perfect at it, and I'm not in my best shape ever. Definitely still a work in progress, but I'm still trying and working. One of the main reasons I work out is for my me time. For my mental health, my stress level, any anxiety, mood, and just to feel better. 😊

It helps clear my head and kind of gives me a reset in the day. An added bonus... My kids see me trying to take care of myself, and they see their dad going to the gym...as a result, they are wanting to be active and we talk about taking care of our bodies. Good teaching moments. 👌

So... My point in sharing...
Find something that is for you. Make sure to take time for yourself each day, or at least a few times a week. It's easy to get sucked into go, go, go, and making sure everyone else is taken care of first. BUT... Its important to take care of yourself too! #SelfCare #highfive 🖐️

It helps clear my head and kind of gives me a reset in the day. An added bonus... My kids see me trying to take care of myself, and they see their dad going to the gym...as a result, they are wanting to be active and we talk about taking care of our bodies. Good teaching moments. 👌

So... My point in sharing...
Find something that is for you. Make sure to take time for yourself each day, or at least a few times a week. It's easy to get sucked into go, go, go, and making sure everyone else is taken care of first. BUT... Its important to take care of yourself too! #SelfCare #highfive 🖐️

This is my best friend, we spend almost every minute together. These photos are from when I was sick just this last week. I remember it so clearly. I just got done having a coughing attack for about 5 minutes and she looked up at me and said, "Are you okay Mommy?!" I laughed under my breathe and said "I'm okay baby, thank you", then she held up her milk cup and said "Cheers!!".

Even though she has been SUPER crabby, inconsolable, and stuck on me like glue I look back at moments like these, where she saw me not feeling well and not at my best and she showed me love and cheered me up just by being her sweet self💜(I know I am not the nicest when I'm sick either)

To my sweet Carmen, never lose that compassion for others and that silly sense of humor I LOVE and adore more than anything! I strive to be there for you and others the way you are always there for me. That is why I started coaching, to helps others who have the same pain as me, see the light at the end of the tunnel.🌌💫
