This is what life throws at us sometimes (literally, rocks). Last week, while juggling several business commitments, helping with a family wedding, and trying to keep our house running, a rock hit my car while driving downtown for an event. (sidenote: this is the 2nd rock to hit me in the last year). When this stuff happens, I always take pause. I think things like this happen to test us, to push us to our limits. But, that's the thing, it's just a test. Most situations or issues (like my windshield) are repairable.
While it was the worst possible day/week to deal with one more thing, I took a deep breath and went on with my day (knowing that I could handle it later). The truth is, we all have a lot going on. We all have frustrations/struggles, and some days are better than others. It's ok to be upset when things don't seem to be going the way you had imagined, or planned. The important thing is to keep going. Keep moving forward. Don't let bumps in the road (or rocks) stop you. And, while it can seem like a lot of things are out of your control, you can control how you react to a situation. You have the power to control the outcome. 💪🚘 #keepmoving #keepyourheadup #motivate #inspire
